Role Overview - Planning Manager

Omega are delighted to be supporting a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation in the recruitment of a Planning Manager.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving planning performance across a complex manufacturing operation. Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain and senior stakeholders, you'll ensure customer demand, production capacity and material availability are aligned to deliver outstanding service and operational performance.

 

Main Duties - Planning Manager

Lead and develop the Planning teamTranslate customer demand into achievable production plansBalance demand, capacity and material availabilityDrive schedule adherence and delivery performanceSupport S&OP and wider planning activitiesIdentify risks, constraints and recovery actionsWork closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering teamsDrive continuous improvement across planning processes and systems

 

The Ideal Candidate - Planning Manager

Previous experience in a Planning Manager, Master Scheduler or Production Planning roleStrong manufacturing planning backgroundExperience leading and developing teamsGood understanding of ERP/MRP systemsExperience managing production schedules, capacity and inventoryStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAerospace, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment desirable

The Role - Project Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and confident Project Manager to join a rapidly scaling Aerospace engineering business in Gloucestershire.

You will be responsible for managing projects through the full project lifecycle, taking responsibility for budgets, delivery, and stakeholder management for complex engineering projects.

You'll need to be comfortable working in an evolving and scaling business, whilst working closely with global OEMs in the aerospace and defence sector.

 

Duties - Project Manager

Maintenance Technician

Cumbernauld

£39,111.36 (salary including standby allowance) + 5% SLA

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team and work in one of their busy Distribution Centres.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within the Westfield Distribution Centre.

You will be the first line in all maintenance issues throughout your allocated site. You may be required to request specialist attendance following initial call out.

The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM’s. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.  

Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Technician

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.  Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.  Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.  Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance  Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs  Follow purchase order process.  Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.  Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times

Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Technician

Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum, ideally NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.  City and Guilds 2382 18th editionAM2/23913 phase electrics and its applications   Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial ovens, dishwashers and microwaves

Mobile Maintenance Electrician

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical).

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Electrician
