Job Role – Engineering Planner

Reporting to the Engineering Planning Manager the Engineering Planner shall be responsible for developing and managing detailed engineering schedules, coordinating scope activities, resource planning of engineering groups and ensuring the successful delivery of scopes within budget and on time

Duties – Engineering Planner

• Create, maintain, and update detailed engineering schedules for projects and services.
• Integrate schedules with overall scope timelines and client requirements.
• Analysis, monitor and report on schedule progress, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues
• Coordinate engineering activities with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Allocate engineering resources effectively to meet project demands.
• Collaborate with resource managers to ensure the availability of required skills and personnel.
• Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies and scenario plans.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Experience/Qualifications – Engineering Planner

• Experience in planning and scheduling within advanced manufacturing
• Demonstratable experience of managing complex engineering schedules
• Proficient in Primavera P6
• Proficient in SAP
