The Role - Project Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and confident Project Manager to join a rapidly scaling Aerospace engineering business in Gloucestershire. on a contract basis.

You will be responsible for managing projects through the full project lifecycle, taking responsibility for budgets, delivery, and stakeholder management for important product deliverables.

You'll need to be comfortable working in an evolving and scaling business, whilst working closely with global OEMs in the aerospace and defence sector.

 

Duties - Project Manager

Developing detailed project plans, setting timelines, defining milestones.Coordinating and overseeing cross-functional teams.Managing project budgets, monitoring expenditure and identifying cost-saving activitiesActing as the main point of contact for internal & external stakeholdersIdentifying potential project risks & implementing mitigation strategies.Implementing Lessons Learnt to improve continuous improvement and innovation.Developing standardised project management processes to support function growth.

 

Background - Project Manager

Project management within manufacturing, engineering or technical environmentExperience in aerospace, defence or space.A track record of running multiple projects concurrentlyCommercial awareness across budgets, cost and planning.Excellent use of MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.Obtained PM qualifications (APM, PMP or PRINCE2)Exposure to AS9100 and OEM customer-specific programme requirements

The Role – Mechanical Process Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Process Engineering professional with a bias towards Mechanical Assembly processes to join a high profile aerospace engineering business in Tewkesbury.

In this role, you will support complex assembly and test processes within an aerospace engineering environment, driving process optimization, problem resolution, and continuous improvement to ensure operational production streamlining.

Your core responsibility will be for resolving complex issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of mechanically assembled hardware, predominantly centered around hydraulics.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Maintenance Electrician

£41,324.95 (salary including on call standby 1:4 + £1,500 competency payment)

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical).

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenanceConduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sitesIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

Qualifications & Experience – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance. City and Guilds 18th Edition.AM2 / 2391

On Offer – Mobile Maintenance Electrician
