Experience & Background
After 15 years in retail and account management, I transitioned into technical recruitment, a move that allowed me to combine my commercial leadership experience with my interest in engineering. Since then, I’ve mentored teams, overseen large‑scale recruitment projects, and played a key role in building strong partnerships across the technical and engineering sectors.
My journey at Omega has seen me progress into the role of Principal Consultant and Senior Account Manager, where I now lead on complex technical hires while supporting some of our most valued clients. Shift: Day shift Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
Location: North Bristol
A great role with a fast-growing, established precision engineering business based in North Bristol. They are looking for a time-served CNC Miller to program, set and operate CNC Mills using Heidenhain controls.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator
They will be required to accurately read and interpret technical drawings to correctly machine a variety of materials to customer specific processes and requirements, perform appropriate duties as assigned by management, maintain a safe and clean workspace and follow established safety rules and regulations.Report breakdowns, equipment faults and concerns to ManagementBe actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectivesEnsure all lost time, minor and trivial accidents are reportedUndertake continuous training and developmentSupport the engineering team with quotations if requiredAssist in tooling buy off and trialsAbility to self-inspect own work using precision inspection tools and devicesAssembling, fitting, and repairing toolsQualifications & Requirements – CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator
