Role: MIG Welder
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Shift: Full time Permanent Dayshift
Salary – Up to £36,400 per annum
A great opportunity to join a successful manufacturing business located in beautiful Cornwall. They are looking for a skilled MIG Welder to supplement their team in a role that has arisen through growth.
Key Responsibilities – MIG Welder
- To carry out welding operations, ensuring the efficient and on time flow through of fabricated items to finished products/stock.
- Follow engineering drawings
- General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled
- Maintain your area to a high standard
Qualifications & Requirements – MIG Welder
- 2+ years MIG experience (a weld test will be carried out at interview).
- Experience working with various thickness materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Committed to safety, quality, and productivity.
- The ability to hit deadlines and achieve daily production schedules.
- Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and be physically able to cope with typical factory duties including manual handling loads.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Assist with other duties as and when required
