Position: Deburrer

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £32000 per annum

Type of position: permanent

Hours: Double Days week 1 6:00 m to 02:00 pm Monday to Friday and week 2 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

We are now seeking 2 permanent deburring operatives to work for a precision manufacturing company based near Gloucester. The appropriate deburrer will be responsible for removing excess material, sharp edges, and imperfections (burrs) from metal or plastic parts using hand tools or machinery

Key Responsibilities

  • Deburring, finishing CNC-machined components
  • Using tools like grinders, buffers, sanders, and deburring machines to smooth sharp edges, corners, and surface imperfections
  • Ensuring work meets quality standards
  • Cleaning, polishing, and preparing parts for subsequent processes,
  • Carry out visually inspecting parts

Requirements:

  • Experience Deburring / polishing or grinding in a precision manufacturing role
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances
  • High level of reliability and integrity
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy production environment

Profile - Senior Program Cost Analyst

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Program Cost Analyst to join a growing aerospace engineering business in Tewkesbury.

This role will take ownership of the cost and schedule performance of complex programmes, using Earned Value Management (EVMS) to provide clear insight into delivery, risks, and forecast outcomes.

You'll work closely with Programme Managers and Finance, playing a key role in ensuring projects remain on track and commercially aligned.

 

Duties - Senior Program Cost Analyst

 Own and maintain integrated project schedules and cost tracking across programmes.Lead Earned Value Management (EVMS) activities.Analyse performance data to identify risks, trends, and variances.Support forecasting, cash flow, and monthly performance reporting.Partner stakeholders to improve project visibility and control.Provide insight into key milestones and programme performance.Support continuous improvement of program controls processes and tools.

 

Background - Senior Program Cost Analyst

 Experience in program controls, project controls, cost analysis, or planning.Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS).Experience with project planning tools (MS Project, Open Plan, or similar).Proven ability to analyse complex data.Strong stakeholder management skills.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.
