Profile - Senior Program Cost Analyst

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Program Cost Analyst to join a growing aerospace engineering business in Tewkesbury.

This role will take ownership of the cost and schedule performance of complex programmes, using Earned Value Management (EVMS) to provide clear insight into delivery, risks, and forecast outcomes.

You'll work closely with Programme Managers and Finance, playing a key role in ensuring projects remain on track and commercially aligned.

 

Duties - Senior Program Cost Analyst

 Own and maintain integrated project schedules and cost tracking across programmes.Lead Earned Value Management (EVMS) activities.Analyse performance data to identify risks, trends, and variances.Support forecasting, cash flow, and monthly performance reporting.Partner stakeholders to improve project visibility and control.Provide insight into key milestones and programme performance.Support continuous improvement of program controls processes and tools.

 

Background - Senior Program Cost Analyst

 Experience in program controls, project controls, cost analysis, or planning.Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS).Experience with project planning tools (MS Project, Open Plan, or similar).Proven ability to analyse complex data.Strong stakeholder management skills.

Position: Deburrer

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £32000 per annum

Type of position: permanent

Hours: Double Days week 1 6:00 m to 02:00 pm Monday to Friday and week 2 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

We are now seeking 2 permanent deburring operatives to work for a precision manufacturing company based near Gloucester. The appropriate deburrer will be responsible for removing excess material, sharp edges, and imperfections (burrs) from metal or plastic parts using hand tools or machinery

Key Responsibilities

Deburring, finishing CNC-machined componentsUsing tools like grinders, buffers, sanders, and deburring machines to smooth sharp edges, corners, and surface imperfectionsEnsuring work meets quality standardsCleaning, polishing, and preparing parts for subsequent processes,Carry out visually inspecting parts

Requirements:

Experience Deburring / polishing or grinding in a precision manufacturing roleExcellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to work to tight tolerancesHigh level of reliability and integrityWillingness to learn and adapt in a busy production environment

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Derby

Salary: £15.98 per hour + shift allowance

Contract: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 6:00pm

Role Overview – Quality Inspector

We’re working with a well-established, high-precision manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their operations in Derby. This is a key role responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance, and consistency across the full manufacturing lifecycle.

Operating within a highly regulated environment, the business delivers complex components into demanding industries where accuracy and reliability are critical. You’ll play a pivotal part in supporting a strong “right first time” culture while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Working closely with cross-functional teams including production and engineering, you will ensure that all components meet required specifications, identify quality issues, and support improvement activities to enhance both processes and products.

Key Responsibilities – Quality Inspector

Carry out inspection and verification of components at all stages of the manufacturing processEnsure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirementsIdentify, report, and support resolution of non-conformances and recurring quality issuesAssist with root cause analysis activities (e.g. 5 Whys, Ishikawa)Maintain accurate inspection records and documentationSupport continuous improvement initiatives within quality and inspection processesCollaborate with internal departments to improve product quality and efficiencyEnsure adherence to ISO standards including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001Promote a strong quality-focused culture and safe working practices across the business

Experience within a Quality Inspector or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsHands-on experience using inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, bore micrometers, height gauges, and DTIsExperience inspecting machined, fabricated, treated, or assembled componentsStrong attention to detail and the ability to work independentlyGood IT and documentation skillsUnderstanding of ISO quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001)CMM experience advantageous but not essentialExperience in a highly regulated sector such as aerospace or automotive is beneficial

Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC)

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several retail stores, maintaining, and repairing a range of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units. Additionally, you will undertake regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer.

Key Responsibilities – Commercial Gas Engineer

Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites. Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHU's, FCU's.Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications.Order spares to the laid-down procedures.Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the HVAC supervisor of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

Qualifications & Experience – Commercial Gas Engineer

SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Heating/Ventilation/Mechanical / HVAC or Equivalent Qualification.ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A as a minimum.
