Our client, a leading manufacturer serving the utilities and infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Product Manager to join their growing team in Chesterfield.

Working closely with Sales, Technical, Marketing, and Leadership teams, you will play a pivotal role in shaping product strategy, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring customers receive innovative, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Product Manager
- Own and develop the product portfolio, driving growth, profitability, and market share.
- Create and deliver product strategies and roadmaps aligned to customer and business requirements.
- Lead new product launches, ensuring successful introduction to the market.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
- Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Marketing teams to maximise product performance and customer value.
- Act as the product specialist, providing technical and commercial support to customers and colleagues.
- Develop and deliver product training to improve product knowledge across the business.
- Support continuous improvement by driving product enhancements and resolving product-related issues.
- Ensure products comply with relevant industry standards and specifications.
Skills & Experience - Product Manager
- Experience in Product Management, Technical Sales, Product Engineering, or a similar role within an engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical products, valves, fittings, fluid control, or related technologies.
- Commercially aware with experience managing product performance and market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical or engineering background, supported by practical project management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and business systems such as ERP or CRM platforms.
