The Role - Quality Inspector

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Gloucester.

You will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies and working with various stakeholders to take appropriate action on non-conformities identified during inspection.

This is working in a highly innovative company that support global blue chip aerospace companies.

 

Responsibilities - Quality Inspector

Operating CMM for inspection purposesDimensional and visual inspection of parts and structures.Presenting and discussing nonconformities with the teamPreparing non-conformity reportsInspecting non-conforming partsParticipating in investigations and problem-solving tasksParticipating in Gauge R&R studies

 

Background - Quality Inspector

CMM Hands on experience (PC-DMIS preferable)Experience in inspecting GD&T symbolsExperience with inspection techniques and various measuring instruments and gauges.Knowledge/experience in inspecting parts from speciality processes

Commercial Gas Engineer

My client is on the lookout for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

Key Responsibilities – Commercial Gas Engineer

Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. To respond (promptly and positively) to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary within agreed timescales and response times. Updating the call and job status afterwards.Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets including but not limited to air handling units with gas fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and to make recommendations to the Line Manager regarding suitable replacement.All completed within our Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Qualifications & Experience – Commercial Gas Engineer

You will hold recognized Commercial Gas qualifications – you will have at least 4 of the following qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1F Gas (2079) qualified17th or 18th Edition (Desirable)Unvented Water Heaters – HWSS Hot Water Systems & Safety (including G3 Unvented HWS) – Essential

£46,994.00 (salary including on call standby 1:4)42.5 Hours Per Week, 8:30am-5:00pm25 days + 8 bank holidaysOvertimeTravel time after ½ hour each wayVan, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment provided
