Pay Range/details: Circa £60,000 OTE

We are seeking an experienced Electrical CNC Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical CNC Maintenance Engineer who is looking for a field-based role with variety, autonomy, and excellent career development prospects.

Key Responsibilities - Electrical CNC Maintenance Engineer 

Install and commission CNC machine tools and automation equipmentDiagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and CNC control faultsCarry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicingFault-find on CNC systems, servo drives, spindle drives, motors, PLCs, and safety circuitsSupport troubleshooting of CNC controls including Heidenhain, Siemens SINUMERIK and FanucInterpret electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and technical documentationBackup and restore CNC parameters and machine dataPerform machine testing, calibration, and operational verificationProvide technical support and training to customersComplete service reports and documentation accurately and promptlyLiaise with internal departments regarding parts and technical issuesEnsure compliance with electrical safety standards and site procedures

Qualifications & Requirements - Electrical CNC Maintenance Engineer 

Proven experience servicing and repairing CNC machine toolsStrong electrical and electronic fault-finding skillsHands-on experience with CNC controls including Heidenhain, Siemens SINUMERIK and FanucAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsSolid knowledge of servo systems, AC/DC drives, PLCs, and machine safety circuitsExperience using electrical test equipment and OEM diagnostic toolsAbility to work independently in a field-based environmentExcellent communication and customer-facing skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight staysHNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is desirablePLC programming knowledge (Siemens STEP 7 / TIA Portal) is advantageous

Responsibilities - Production Line Engineer

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician, to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets in retail stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.

This is likely to include bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems and assets, lighting systems, building fabric, water services and other static and portable electrical equipment. Monday to Thursday – 7.00 am – 4.00 pm and 7.00 am – 12.00 pm Friday

We are now seeking to recruit Welder/ Fabricator for a busy manufacturing company based in Blaenavon to fabricate and weld of light to medium gauge steel in line with the detailed engineering drawing provided, occasionally liaising with other departments of the fabrication shop to ensure the fabrication is to the standard required.

 Responsibilities:
