My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician, to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets in retail stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.

This is likely to include bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems and assets, lighting systems, building fabric, water services and other static and portable electrical equipment. General maintenance and first look is required for all HVAC/Fire and Security and electrical and general issues.

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Technician

To complete all necessary PPM's and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal complianceTo supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes.To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA's

Qualifications & Experience - Mobile Maintenance Technician

C&G 2382 (18th edition)Level 3 core Electrical qualification, examples of which are: C&G2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G2365

Location: Blaenavon

The hours are 39 hours per week

Monday to Thursday – 7.00 am – 4.00 pm and 7.00 am – 12.00 pm Friday

Salary: up to £32448

We are now seeking to recruit Welder/ Fabricator for a busy manufacturing company based in Blaenavon to fabricate and weld of light to medium gauge steel in line with the detailed engineering drawing provided, occasionally liaising with other departments of the fabrication shop to ensure the fabrication is to the standard required.

 Responsibilities:

Read, interpret and follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions to ensure exact specifications of outputFabricating work in various gauge metals (light to medium)MIG welding (predominately mild steel)Tig welding (predominately stainless steel)Grinding/polishing fabricated items by using various handheld tools and/or dedicated material finishing machineryPerform quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards

Requirements:

Experience of working in a fabrication environment (engineering or metal work)Demonstrable experience of MIG and Tig welding and fabrication especially with welding mild steel and stainless steelExperience of reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawingsFabrication and Welding qualification or time served apprenticeship

This role is engineering‑first, focused on technical application support, solution development, and system understanding, with sales activity built around providing the right technical answer rather than high‑pressure selling.

You will act as the internal technical authority for customers within a defined region, working closely with external Area Sales Managers, design engineers, and systems specialists to ensure solutions are accurate, feasible, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities – Junior Sales Engineer

Key Experience & Qualifications – Junior Sales Engineer

Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Experience or strong interest in process automation, control systems, industrial equipment, or engineered solutions.Comfortable interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.Previous experience in a technical sales, applications engineering, or customer‑facing engineering role is desirable.Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non‑engineers.Organised, detail‑focused, and technically curious, with a practical, solutions‑driven mindset.
