My client is a specialist in food processing and bakery equipment. They are on the lookout for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities – Field Service Engineer

Working across the UK working on food process and bakery equipment – pie/pizza linesMechanical build, install, servicing and commissioningElectrical breakdownsWilling to occasionally travel internationally – travelling out to head office in Holland to assist colleagues and attend training

Qualifications & Experience – Field Service Engineer

HNC/HND or City & Guilds within engineeringExperience of working on machinery within the following industries Paper, Pastry/bakery, Print, Food Manufacturing, Textile or Injection MoldingHave a strong track record in field and service engineeringStrong mechanical and (basic) electrical engineering skillsExperience with Siemens PLC controls is an advantage

On Offer – Field Service Engineer

Job Title: Logistics Supervisor (Lates)                      

Location: Rugby

Pay Range: £31,000 - £33,000

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 2pm – 10pm working 5 days in 7

A fast-paced logistics operation is seeking a proactive and driven Supervisor to oversee a designated zone within the operational area. Reporting to the Process Manager, this role is responsible for leading a team of Warehouse Operatives, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities – Logistics Supervisor (Lates)           

Operational Management:

Supervise Warehouse Operatives and oversee daily operations within your designated zone.Drive performance against key operational metrics including throughput, parcel presentation, productivity levels, and CPU targets vs budget.Ensure achievement of forecasted outputs and operational KPIs.Support the Process Manager in delivering high-quality sortation and achieving MI performance standards.

Performance & Compliance:

Manage and maintain compliance with Client SLAs, including load presentation, infeed targets, blockbuster targets, and scanning accuracy.Control and minimise mis-sorts, damages, and claims within your zone.Ensure full adherence to 100% scan compliance and operational standards.Maintain all reporting documentation and manifests to required standards and deadlines.

Team Leadership:

Lead, organise, and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives to achieve performance targets.Conduct regular 1-2-1s, coaching sessions, team briefings, and performance reviews.Drive a high-performance, people-focused culture within the sortation area.Lead by example to reinforce company values and operational standards.

Health, Safety & Quality:

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and quality standards within your area.Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe systems of work are followed.Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement & Support:

Promote consistency and best practices to deliver excellent operational standards.Stand in for the Process Manager when required.Support initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

Injection Moulding Setter

Trafford, Manchester

Permanent - 3 Shift Rotation (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6)

Salary - up to £40000 per annum + Company Profit Share

A well-established UK manufacturer producing precision-moulded components for the construction industry is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join its production team based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This company is embarking on an exciting transformation journey, investing in its people, processes, and equipment to enhance quality and efficiency across its manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising production and driving continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Set, monitor, and optimise injection moulding machines for efficient production cyclesComplete tool changeovers and material setups safely and effectivelyConduct basic mechanical fault finding and troubleshootingOperate forklifts to transport raw materials and tools (training can be provided)Maintain tooling and masterbatch storage areas in a safe and organised conditionSupport production with clear shift handovers and accurate record keepingWork collaboratively with the Factory Manager to identify and implement process improvementsPromote best practices in health, safety, and housekeeping across all areas

 

Qualifications / Experience:

Proven experience working in plastics injection moulding (minimum 2 years preferred)Skilled in setting a variety of moulding machines, robots, sprue pickers, and granulatorsConfident communicator with a proactive, team-oriented approachMechanically minded, with the ability to fault find and suggest improvementsIMT Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) - desirableStrong attention to detail with a "slow down to speed up" mindsetIT literate and comfortable completing shift documentationMotivated, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement

 

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday3 rotating shifts - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
