My client is a specialist in food processing and bakery equipment. They are on the lookout for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities – Field Service Engineer

Working across the UK working on food process and bakery equipment – pie/pizza linesMechanical build, install, servicing and commissioningElectrical breakdownsWilling to occasionally travel internationally – travelling out to head office in Holland to assist colleagues and attend training

Qualifications & Experience – Field Service Engineer

HNC/HND or City & Guilds within engineeringExperience of working on machinery within the following industries Paper, Pastry/bakery, Print, Food Manufacturing, Textile or Injection MoldingHave a strong track record in field and service engineeringStrong mechanical and (basic) electrical engineering skillsExperience with Siemens PLC controls is an advantage

Shift Pattern: Early shift - Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor - Electrical Bias to join a leading FMCG manufacturer in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing food production business with multiple sites, offering strong career development across diverse manufacturing operations.

 

Key Responsibilities - Engineering Supervisor

Work closely with the senior leadership team to minimise machinery downtime through effective preventative maintenanceLead and manage engineering teams of 10-15 engineers across two manufacturing sitesSupport the Head of Engineering in delivering site engineering performance targetsDrive improvements in plant productivity by investigating performance issues and implementing solutionsIdentify root causes of breakdowns and equipment failures, ensuring corrective actions are takenCarry out and support both reactive and proactive electrical and mechanical maintenanceEnsure all repairs and maintenance activities are accurately recorded to identify recurring faultsMaintain availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for efficient operationsCollaborate closely with production teams to minimise disruption and maximise outputPromote continuous improvement and best engineering practices across both sites

Proven experience in an engineering supervisory role within a manufacturing or FMCG environmentStrong electrical bias with the ability to support mechanical maintenance activitiesExperience managing or leading engineering teamsAbility to diagnose faults, carry out root cause analysis, and implement solutionsStrong understanding of preventative maintenance systemsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environmentEngineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent) desirable

Injection Moulding Setter

Trafford, Manchester

Permanent - 3 Shift Rotation (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6)

Salary - up to £40000 per annum + Company Profit Share

A well-established UK manufacturer producing precision-moulded components for the construction industry is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join its production team based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This company is embarking on an exciting transformation journey, investing in its people, processes, and equipment to enhance quality and efficiency across its manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising production and driving continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Set, monitor, and optimise injection moulding machines for efficient production cyclesComplete tool changeovers and material setups safely and effectivelyConduct basic mechanical fault finding and troubleshootingOperate forklifts to transport raw materials and tools (training can be provided)Maintain tooling and masterbatch storage areas in a safe and organised conditionSupport production with clear shift handovers and accurate record keepingWork collaboratively with the Factory Manager to identify and implement process improvementsPromote best practices in health, safety, and housekeeping across all areas

 

Qualifications / Experience:

Proven experience working in plastics injection moulding (minimum 2 years preferred)Skilled in setting a variety of moulding machines, robots, sprue pickers, and granulatorsConfident communicator with a proactive, team-oriented approachMechanically minded, with the ability to fault find and suggest improvementsIMT Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) - desirableStrong attention to detail with a "slow down to speed up" mindsetIT literate and comfortable completing shift documentationMotivated, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement

 

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday3 rotating shifts - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
