Job Profile – Electronics Test Engineer

Duties – Electronics Test Engineer

• Lead verification, testing, and debugging of electronics for company Optical platforms
• Develop and execute test plans for digital, analogue, and mixed signal electronics
• Perform detailed circuit level debugging using lab equipment and diagnostic tools
• Conduct board level validation, characterisation, and performance assessment
• Support design teams by reviewing schematics and layouts, ensuring testability and robustness
• Carry out circuit simulations and analysis to support verification activities
• Prepare electronics for manufacture and acceptance testing, ensuring compliance with space environment requirements
• Design and maintain Electronics Ground Support Equipment with a focus on test automation and repeatability
• Produce high quality technical documents, including test procedures, validation reports, and test results
• Maintain technical solutions, budgets, and schedules relating to verification and test activities
• Interface at system and subsystem level to ensure appropriate test coverage and traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely within a core project team to support integration, AIT, and commissioning phases

Experience/Qualifications – Electronics Test Engineer

• Experience in electronics verification, testing, and debugging (or electronics design with strong test focus)
• Experience in mixed signal circuit testing and validation
• Proficiency with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, signal generators, etc.)
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or TCL for test automation
• Understanding of FPGA design and verification in VHDL
• Strong fault finding skills and an analytical approach to diagnosing complex issues

Duties – Equipment Readiness Associate

• Help the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineer prepare equipment for jobs.
• Perform non-invasive maintenance pertaining to final preparation of surface and downhole equipment and ready boxes.
• Execute work orders (WOs) as assigned through the Computerized Maintenance Management System for the Division, ensuring compliance to standard work and WO data accuracy and completeness.
• Help prepare and organize documentation for such activities as calibrations, function tests,
• material certifications, inspections and, if necessary, third-party quality control and inspections.
• Prepare equipment and associated critical spares for shipment and staging at a pre-determined location or loading zone.
• Load equipment onto trucks in the absence of base or operational planning support, or the Equipment Readiness Operator or Technician.
• Receive equipment after Logistics offloads equipment that is returning to the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) base.
• Adopt a continuous improvement work ethic and participate in initiatives to improve efficiency
• and productivity in equipment readiness and asset utilization through maintenance processes.

This role will include working across multiple retail stores through planned visits and responsive maintenance. You’ll complete a wide range of building fabric and housekeeping repairs—including fixing floors, walls, doors, toilets, fitting rooms, basic plumbing and other general upkeep—along with carrying out and assisting minor PPMs to ensure each store stays in good working order.

Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Technician

Complete minor maintenance and fabric repairs- Carry out a range of building fabric and housekeeping tasks—such as basic joinery, painting, basic plumbing, minor floor repairs, fixtures and fittings—delivering work safely and to a high standard.Deliver planned and reactive maintenance- Complete all planned and reactive tasks within agreed timescales and ensure associated documentation is accurate and up to date.Respond promptly to Helpdesk requests- Assess job requirements, complete repairs where possible, and escalate issues outside role scope in a timely manner.
