Senior Quality Engineer

Senior Quality Engineer required by well-established Tewkesbury based business to take a leading role in driving product quality across a high-reliability manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved, leading investigations, and acting as the primary point of contact for customer quality matters.

Main Duties Senior Quality Engineer

  • Leading and developing the Quality Inspection team, setting clear standards and expectations
  • Taking ownership of product quality, including authority to stop production where risks are identified
  • Driving a right-first-time, zero-defect culture across manufacturing
  • Leading customer-facing quality activities, including non-conformances, concessions, and investigations
  • Conducting structured root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys) and implementing effective corrective actions
  • Analysing quality data to identify trends and drive improvement
  • Supporting  audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Senior Quality Engineer

  • Proven experience in a senior or lead quality role within electronics, PCB manufacturing, or a similar industry
  • Strong background in customer-facing quality and complex investigations
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience leading or mentoring quality or inspection teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and audit processes

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electrician?to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical).

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenanceConduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sitesIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance. City and Guilds 18th Edition.AM2 / 2391
