Senior Quality Engineer

Senior Quality Engineer required by well-established Tewkesbury based business to take a leading role in driving product quality across a high-reliability manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved, leading investigations, and acting as the primary point of contact for customer quality matters.

Main Duties Senior Quality Engineer

  • Leading and developing the Quality Inspection team, setting clear standards and expectations
  • Taking ownership of product quality, including authority to stop production where risks are identified
  • Driving a right-first-time, zero-defect culture across manufacturing
  • Leading customer-facing quality activities, including non-conformances, concessions, and investigations
  • Conducting structured root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys) and implementing effective corrective actions
  • Analysing quality data to identify trends and drive improvement
  • Supporting  audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Senior Quality Engineer

  • Proven experience in a senior or lead quality role within electronics, PCB manufacturing, or a similar industry
  • Strong background in customer-facing quality and complex investigations
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience leading or mentoring quality or inspection teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and audit processes

Mobile Maintenance Electrician

North/West London

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical and catering equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenanceConduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sitesIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

Qualifications & Experience – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance. City and Guilds 18th Edition.AM2 / 2391

On Offer – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

£40,593.78 (Inclusive of Standby (1:4 x 13 Periods) & Competency Payment) + overtime + travel timeIncludes a £1,500 competency payment will be added to the basic salary upon completion of electrical fault training for catering and bakery equipment. The training, provided by the employer during the probation period, includes two one-week training blocks. 40 hour weekTravel time paid after half hour each wayOT paid at 1.5x Mon – Fri / 2x Sat-SunCompany pension scheme (matched up to 5%)Private healthcare (BUPA)Various employee discount schemes

Main Duties- Stores Assistant

Ensuring that correct procedures are followed for storage of materialsCarrying out stock checks and replenishing inventory as needed.Accurately picking and packing materials.Issuing parts to the production floor in a timely manner.Operating MRP/ERP systems to manage inventory and materials.Ensuring full compliance with company procedures and standards.

We are seeking a driven and technically capable Sales & Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid role combining customer-facing technical sales with hands-on manufacturing engineering.

You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, generating new business, and delivering end-to-end manufacturing solutions—from initial enquiry through to production. This role requires strong knowledge of precision machining, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate customer requirements into efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes.

 

Key Responsibilities – Sales & Manufacturing Engineer

Engage with customers to develop tailored manufacturing solutionsManage and grow key accounts while identifying new business opportunitiesPrepare technical proposals, quotations, and support customer tendersLead projects from enquiry through to production and successful deliveryDevelop manufacturing methods, process plans, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Ability to generate CNC programs (Milling, Turning, EDM) using CAM softwareAbility to produce CAD drawings and design jigs/fixtures (HyperMILL)Ensure smooth transition of new projects into productionWork closely with internal teams and external suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targetsDrive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principlesSupport tooling, inspection, and production readiness activities
