Position: QA Technician

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Salary: £27,000- £29,000

Working hours: Weekly rotation

Week 1 Monday to Friday 05:30- 14:00

Week 2 Monday to Friday 09:30-1 8:00

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join one of the UKs leading FMCG companies, based in the heart of Stroud.

This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

The position is well suited to individuals with a background in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline, who are confident working within a regulated FMCG environment and committed to upholding high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities – QA Technician

Support the safe and compliant production of finished products to the required quality standards, working effectively both independently and as part of the team.Work with all areas of the factory to improve efficiency and reduce process loss.Challenge any deviations from standards to strengthen a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Work to and comply with all established Standards, Policies, and ProceduresMaintain a strong H&S culture within the Quality functionSupport delivery of site requirements across H&S, Quality, People, Delivery and CostMonitor microbiological requirements for finished products and plant hygieneEnsure COSHH documentation is reviewed and updated as requiredLead microbiological non-conformity investigations in line with CAPA requirementsEngage in Lean Manufacturing and CI initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements – QA Technician

Degree-level education (Food Science, Microbiology or equivalent) or equivalent experience in a Quality TeamExperience conducting microbiological and/or chemical testing.Experience working with SOPs and managing controlled documentation.Understanding of drinks manufacturing processes (ideal).Ability to manage laboratory systems and maintain compliance.Skilled in investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions.Capable of collaborating across multi-functional manufacturing teams.

Position: CNC Machinist

Location: Gloucester

Type of work: permanent

Salary: £36,0000 per annum

Hours of work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday between 7:00 am and 05:00 pm

We are now seeking a CNC setter to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Gloucester. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC milling and CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products. The appropriate candidate would be trained on offline programming.

Responsibilities:

Setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controlsWorking on technical engineering drawingsWorking with aluminium and stainless steelAbility to use measuring toolsEnsuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.

Requirement:

Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milling and CNC lathes machines with Fanuc controlsAbility to change tools and adjust offsetsAbility to use measuring toolsWillig to learn offline programming

Position: Assistant Accountant (AAT Level 3)

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Salary: £28,000- £33,000

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30- 17:00, Friday 08:30- 16:30

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end processes, and ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and in line with company procedures and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities – Assistant Accountant (AAT Level 3)

Transactional Accounting

Manage supplier accounts, including reconciliations and query resolutionAssist with customer accounts and credit control where requiredProcess bank transactions and perform regular bank reconciliationsMoving to full oversight of both sales and purchase ledger

Month-End & Reporting

Assist with month-end close proceduresPrepare journals, including accruals and prepaymentsSupport the preparation of management accountsMaintain balance sheet reconciliationsRevaluing foreign exchange accounts and reconciliation

Payroll & Expenses

Assist with payroll processing and payroll journalsProcess employee expenses and ensure compliance with company policies

Compliance & Controls

Qualifications & Requirements – Assistant Accountant (AAT Level 3)
