Project Coordinator required by industry leading engineering company, based in Gloucester.

The successful Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting project delivery through effective planning, supplier coordination, and ensuring accurate documentation and purchasing processes.

Main Duties Project Coordinator

Raise and manage purchase orders in line with project requirementsSupport planning and coordination across multiple ongoing projectsLiaise with third-party service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and servicesAct as the point of contact for queries relating to documentation and paperworkWork closely with project leads to ensure smooth execution of project activitiesAnalyse project and purchasing data using Excel (including pivot tables)Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project-related purchasing activities

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Project Coordinator

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain rolesStrong understanding of the complexities involved in project-based environmentsAdvanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables and data analysisExperience raising and managing purchase ordersProven ability to coordinate tasks across multiple stakeholdersThe ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with changing prioritiesExcellent communication skills.Highly organised with the ability to prioritise own workload,

Graduate Electrical Design Engineer required by industry leading company, based in Droitwich. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of innovative products, supporting projects from initial sales order through to manufacture.

You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into accurate technical documentation, ensuring high-quality contract releases and continuous product improvement.

Main Duties :Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

Review sales orders and releases to determine contract requirementsProduce detailed technical engineering drawings and electrical schematics for manufacture and assemblyPrepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)Ensure complete and precise contract releases for manufacturingSupport the ongoing design development and refinement of existing and new productsWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams including sales and production

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Electrical Design Engineer

Minimum 2:1 BEng in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Previous exposure to product designAbility to create and interpret technical engineering drawingsUnderstanding of core electrical engineering principlesExperience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (desirable)Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and outstanding attention to detail.

Role: Coating Process Engineer

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £44,000 - £47,000

Day Shift: 8am – 5pm (12.30pm finish on Friday)

Overview:

To give direction and provide experience on coatings and corrosion protection systems. To provide competent inspection and quality surveillance of surface preparation and applications.  To monitor full compliance with applicable standards, specifications and contractual requirements across all products and processes.

Responsibilities:

Act as Coating Specialist on production methodsSolution development with direct liaison with paint suppliers and contractorsReview and interpret client and project coating specificationsVerify surface preparation methods and cleanliness gradesInspect coating application activities and verify compliance with approved proceduresMeasure and record wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT)Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvementMaintain accurate inspection records, reports and photographic evidenceSupport final acceptance, handover documentation and coating dossiersAccept or reject surface preparation and coating work.Stop work where quality, safety, or specification compliance is compromised. Sign off inspection and acceptance documentation within agreed limits of authority.

Requirements:

Experience in surface treatment and coating inspection.Demonstrable experience inspecting industrial coating systems on steel and/or metallic substrates.Ability to document Work Instructions for own areaProduce clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports.Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, applicators, and project teams.Escalate quality or technical concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Pay Range/details: £39,093.85 per annum (salary including on call standby 1:4)

Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in the recruitment of an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team to work on a leading supermarket contracts. The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical).

 

 

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenanceConduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sitesIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
