Key Responsibilities - Electrical Maintenance Engineer - shifts

  • Your new challenge will be providing effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production
  • Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment
  • Planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum
  • You'll work with conveyor systems, PLC systems, motors and controls
  • Leading electrical and instrumentation, repair, and working with a CMMS
  • Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes
  • Implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance
  • Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls

Qualifications & Requirements - Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Shifts

  • Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering
  • Manufacturing Industry experience, heavy, medium or FMCG environments considered
  • Routine Preventative Maintenance so an understanding of a PPM schedule
  • Finding and fixing faults quickly and effectively
  • A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development

About the Company

Our client is a well-known UK food manufacturer, operating from multiple locations nationwide. Due to continued business requirements, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join their finance team on a fixed-term basis until April 2027.

Responsibilities - Accounts Payable Administrator

Processing and managing a high volume of invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.Investigating and resolving supplier queries relating to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies.Working closely with multiple UK sites to ensure invoice approvals and payment processes are completed within agreed timescales.Maintaining accurate supplier records and account information.Reconciling supplier statements and resolving outstanding issues.Liaising with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers via phone and email.Supporting month-end activities and assisting the wider finance team where required.Ensuring all accounts payable processes comply with company policies and procedures.

Experience / Qualifications - Accounts Payable Administrator

Previous experience working within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger environment.Experience handling supplier queries relating to invoices and credit notes.Strong communication skills with excellent telephone and email etiquette.The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.Experience working with stakeholders across multiple sites would be advantageous.SAP experience is desirable but not essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Team Leadership & Workload Management

• Lead, manage and develop the Inspection Team.

• Develop a flexible, multi-skilled team through training, mentoring and cross-skilling.

Inspection & Technical Capability

• Own the development, standardisation and continual improvement of inspection methods.

• Work with Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to develop inspection strategies for new and existing products.

Calibration & Equipment

• Own the inspection equipment calibration process, ensuring equipment remains within calibration and is fit for purpose.

• Maintain effective control and traceability of measurement equipment and calibration records.

• Manage external calibration requirements and investigate out-of-calibration situations.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure inspection activities comply with company procedures, customer requirements and applicable aerospace standards.

• Maintain high standards of product quality, traceability and inspection records.

• Support non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Support internal, customer and regulatory audits.

• Ensure quality or measurement risks are identified and escalated appropriately.

Development & Continuous Improvement

• Own the competency and development of the Inspection Team.

• Maintain skills matrices and identify training and development requirements.

• Develop inspection capability through structured training, mentoring and succession planning.

• Drive improvements in inspection efficiency, lead times, processes and methods.

• Promote Lean, 5S and continuous improvement within the inspection function.

Qualifications & Requirements – Quality Inspection Manager
