The Role – Mechanical Process Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Process Engineering professional with a bias towards Mechanical Assembly processes to join a high profile aerospace engineering business in Tewkesbury.

In this role, you will support complex assembly and test processes within an aerospace engineering environment, driving process optimization, problem resolution, and continuous improvement to ensure operational production streamlining.

Your core responsibility will be for resolving complex issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of mechanically assembled hardware, predominantly centered around hydraulics.

Duties – Process Engineer

Support build and test processes within an Assembly & Test environment.Identify process improvement opportunitiesAnalyze build and performance data to support process optimizationDevelop and improve existing manufacturing and test processesUse a range of techniques to interpret technical data.Support investigations of production issues.Partner cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.

 

Background – Process Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalentCore experience in Mechanical EngineeringKnowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.

The role is responsible for developing, maintaining and continuously improving the company's Business Management System (BMS) and Quality Management System

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Maintain and improve the Business Management System (BMS).Plan, manage and lead, internal audits, process audits, product audits, manufacturing process audits and external certifications and customer auditsManage audit schedules and ensure actions are completed.Drive corrective actions through the CAR (Corrective Action Request) process.Ensure compliance with automotive customer requirements and industry standards.Manage warranty performance, warranty claims and debit note closure.Support supplier audit programmes and mentor Supplier Quality teams.Support IMDS (International Material Data System) submissions

 

 

 

Skills & Experience

 

Knowledge of Quality systems such as IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.Desired to have experience with ISO9001, Health & safety regulations.Experience of automotive quality tools, techniques, and systems such as PPAP, 8D , SPC, KPI, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans.Support the organisation in its use of quality methodologies such as problem solving, report management, visual management, training and escalation management.Management of documentation and overall BMS deliverables.Experience of Automotive relevant / industry compliance and regulatory requirements.Experience of working in a manufacturing environment ideally automotive.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical).

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenanceConduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sitesIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance. City and Guilds 18th Edition.AM2 / 2391

On Offer – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

£41,324.95 salary (including standby 1:4 + £1,500 competency payment) + overtime + travel timeIncludes a £1,500 competency payment will be added to the basic salary upon completion of electrical fault training for catering and bakery equipment.
