We are recruiting for a leading global manufacturer operating within a fast-paced production environment, supplying high-quality packaging solutions

Responsibilities - Mechanical Technician

Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical and hydraulic systems across production equipmentPerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise machinery reliability and efficiencyTroubleshoot breakdowns and implement effective, long-term solutions to minimise downtimeSupport continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment performance (OEE)Maintain and service site equipment, utilities, and general mechanical systemsWork collaboratively with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operationsComplete maintenance records and ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standardsAssist with basic electrical fault finding and repair where required

Experience / Qualifications - Mechanical Technician

Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)Strong mechanical maintenance background within a manufacturing or production environmentExperience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systemsBasic electrical fault-finding ability (desirable, not essential)Proven ability to diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairsComfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environmentA proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Join a well-established manufacturing business as a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production machinery and site services. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy engineering team where you'll play a key role in minimising downtime, improving reliability, and ensuring production targets are achieved.

Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer

Respond quickly to production breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with maintenance schedules.Maintain and repair production machinery, plant equipment, and site services.Complete electrical and mechanical repairs to a high standard while minimising downtime.Support continuous improvement activities to improve reliability and efficiency.Carry out machinery installations, upgrades, and modifications in line with PUWER regulations.Work alongside contractors and ensure all site procedures are followed.Accurately complete maintenance documentation and detailed shift handovers.Manage spare parts requirements and ensure correct stores processes are followed.Maintain high standards of housekeeping, GMP, health & safety, and food safety compliance.Follow escalation procedures and support operational priorities across the site.

Experience / Qualifications - Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer

Time-served apprenticeship or recognised engineering qualification.NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering.ONC/HNC in Engineering or equivalent qualification.18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience within a manufacturing environment.Experience working on 415V 3-phase production machinery and factory services.PLC fault-finding experience.Good understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.Experience carrying out electrical installations to current regulations.Ability to build and modify electrical control panels.Knowledge of industrial motors, motor controls, and associated equipment.Able to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

Key Responsibilities – Commercial Gas Engineer

Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. To respond (promptly and positively) to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary within agreed timescales and response times. Updating the call and job status afterwards.Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets including but not limited to air handling units with gas fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and to make recommendations to the Line Manager regarding suitable replacement.All completed within our Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Qualifications & Experience – Commercial Gas Engineer

Key Responsibilities - Senior Mechanical Engineer

Develop engineering solutions to meet project requirements, including schedule, quality, and cost considerations, while adhering to company processes.Work with internal and external customers, suppliers, and colleagues in mechanical, systems, and hardware disciplinesManage formal requirements allocated to mechanical systems, validate these requirements according to industry standards, and demonstrate compliance through design descriptions and verification methods (e.g., testing, inspection, analysis).Compile work estimates and plans to support project managers.
