The Role - Strategic Supply Chain Manager

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned and influential Supply Chain Leader to join a prominent business in the aerospace and defence sector.

The Strategic Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing the supply chain function for a new branch within the business offering a unique and exciting opportunity.

Taking a strategic approach, you’ll ensure the successful design and delivery of supply chain development and growth.

 

Duties - Strategic Supply Chain Manager

  • Provide strategic vision and lead the design and delivery of the supply chains
  • Execute the full strategic sourcing lifecycle, including:
    • Strategy development
    • Supplier identification and evaluation
    • Spend and market analysis
    • Negotiation of long‑term agreements
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Conduct global market research to identify suppliers that enhance business value.
  • Run RFQs and assess supplier capabilities.
  • Lead all site and cross-site supply chain activities.
  • Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and corrective actions.

 

Background - Strategic Supply Chain Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferable)
  • Significant evidence of supply chain career progression.
  • Knowledge of procurement and contractual law.
  • Knowledge of contractual requirements & supply chain processes.
  • Innovation or other early-stage business creation experience

IT Project Manager

Reporting to the General Manager the IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate all IT technology-related activities for a major site expansion programme. The role will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of IT infrastructure, digital workplace, connectivity, cybersecurity, and Operational Technology (OT) integration requirements across a complex multi-vendor environment.

Working closely with engineering, operations, and technology teams, you will manage the intersection between IT and OT, ensuring technology solutions are delivered safely, securely, and in line with project milestones.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead delivery of all IT workstreams within a major site manufacturing/expansion project.
• Coordinate activities across IT, OT, engineering, facilities, construction, and business teams.
• Manage multiple technology vendors, contractors, and system integrators.
• Oversee delivery of site networks, infrastructure, end-user technology, communications, cybersecurity, and related systems.
• Manage project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance.
• Ensure alignment between enterprise IT standards and operational requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, go-live activities, and operational handover.
• Provide regular reporting and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the programme.

Skills & Experience
• Proven experience delivering complex IT infrastructure or technology projects.
• Experience supporting large manufacturing, industrial, utilities, or capital investment programmes.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and the integration of IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

Key Responsibilities -  Air Conditioning Engineer

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems across commercial sites.Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on split systems, VRV/VRF units, multi-split systems, and associated ventilation equipment.Undertake installation, commissioning, and testing of air conditioning systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.Ensure all work is completed safely and compliantly, adhering to F-Gas regulations, health & safety policies, and company procedures.Complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation accurately, providing clear updates on works carried out and any remedial actions required.Build strong working relationships with clients and site teams, delivering a high standard of customer service while supporting the successful delivery of maintenance and project works.

 

Qualifications & Requirements -  Air Conditioning Engineer

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer within commercial maintenance, service, and installation environments.F-Gas Category 1 certification is essential.Good understanding of health & safety regulations, compliance standards, and safe systems of work within commercial environments.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.On call rota is 1-in-7.Standard working day is 8 hours on site, with an 08.00 start time.Any time worked on site beyond 8 hours is paid at 1.5x overtime.Travel time is paid separately and on top of on?site hours.

• Perform inspecting, labelling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, issuing, disposal and cycle counting of inventory items.
