We are partnering with a leading international business that delivers operational, customer service, and asset management solutions to a diverse customer base across the UK. Due to a period of transformation and ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the business on a 9-month fixed term contract.

This is a high-profile leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, customer experience, employee engagement, and continuous improvement across multiple service functions. Managing a small number of direct reports, you will provide leadership across teams of approximately 100 colleagues, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.

Whilst experience within fleet management would be highly advantageous, we are equally keen to speak with candidates from customer service, contact centre, shared service, and other multi-functional operational environments.

Responsibilities - Operations Manager (Customer Service & Operations)

Lead and develop a team of operational leaders and managers.Drive performance across multiple customer-facing and back-office functions.Ensure delivery against key operational, customer, and commercial KPIs.Foster a high-performance culture focused on engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.Work closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic and operational objectives.Manage resource planning, productivity, and service delivery across multiple teams.Monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Support change initiatives and business transformation activities.

Experience & Qualifications - Operations Manager (Customer Service & Operations)

Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Service Delivery Manager, or equivalent leadership role.Track record of leading managers and large operational teams within customer-focused environments.Strong experience managing KPI-driven operations.Demonstrated ability to improve performance, efficiency, and customer outcomes.Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.Experience leading through change and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capability.Fleet management, automotive, leasing, financial services, utilities, or contact centre experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Location: Poole

Type of work: permanent

Salary: £44818 to £47455 per annum

Working hours: 4 nights Monday to Thursday with flex start and finish

We are now seeking a CNC Milli/ Turn setter to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Poole. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC milli/ turn machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.

Responsibilities:

Setting and operating CNC 5 Mill/Turn machines with Fanuc controlsWorking on technical engineering drawingsWorking with aluminium and stainless steelAbility to use measuring toolsEnsuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.

Requirement:

Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milli/ Turn machines with Fanuc or Haas controlsAbility to change tools and adjust offsetsAbility to use measuring tools  Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage but not essential

As part of the technical team, you will play a key role in ensuring production plans are achieved through the safe and efficient setting of injection moulding machinery, supporting operational excellence and maintaining high quality standards across the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities - Shift Injection Moulding Setter Leader

As a key member of the setting team, you will be responsible for ensuring mould tools are changed and machines are set in line with production requirements. Your duties will include:

Setting and optimising injection moulding machines in line with manufacturing plans and product specificationsCarrying out safe mould tool changes in accordance with company proceduresPerforming basic first-line maintenance on mould tools and production equipmentCompleting and documenting daily and weekly safety checksEnsuring mould tools are installed correctly and products meet specification sheets and control samplesMonitoring product quality and implementing corrective actions where requiredEnsuring the correct materials and stock are used throughout the manufacturing processSupporting production operators and providing specialist technical guidanceMaintaining accurate manufacturing documentation, machine records and product labellingCommunicating technical issues and production risks to the wider production teamDriving efficient working practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the departmentMaintaining a safe, organised and clean working environment at all times
