Position: Programme Manager
Location: Deeside, Flintshire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client, a leading force within aerospace manufacturing are on the hunt for an Programme Manager to join the team in Deeside.

Role and Responsibilities – Programme Manager 
In this role you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all customer commitments within the organisation, ensuring operational, commercial, and technical performance across portfolio of the company’s products.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Act as the primary customer contact for all production programme matters, providing clear updates, recovery plans, and communication of technical or commercial issues.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of programmes
  • Lead regular customer reviews covering performance metrics, reliability trends, repair performance, and emerging in-service issues.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to manage in-service issues affecting the company’s equipment.

Experience or Qualifications – Programme Manager

  • Proven experience in programme or project management within the aerospace or defence industry
  • Project management certification (e.g., APM, PMI) or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain
  • Background in engineering, operations, or supply chain within aerospace

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

Key Responsibilities – Refrigeration Engineer

Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times. Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements. To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date. To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.To advise the GSMs of any repair, maintenance and installation issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the store and to build rapport and promote the spirit of partnership with all GSM’s.To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/ RFM.

Qualifications & Experience – Refrigeration Engineer

NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air ConditioningF-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1) Flexible to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1:4 weeks.Full driving license.

Previous experience within a Quality, Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality role.Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone, 5 Whys or similar techniques.Experience managing supplier quality performance and supplier development programmes.Good understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.Experience conducting internal and supplier audits.Proven background implementing and managing CAPA processes.Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Experience completing or reviewing PPAP documentation.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Manufacturing, engineering or industrial sector experience would be highly advantageous.A hands-on approach with a passion for solving technical and quality-related challenges.
