Role Overview – Technical Sales Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering organisation seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support and grow their presence within the Fluid Power market. This is a remote-based role with an office base in Gloucester, offering flexibility alongside close collaboration with internal technical and sales teams.

This role blends technical application expertise with customer-facing responsibility, giving you the opportunity to work on a variety of projects involving Hydraulic Systems, Components, Electronics, and Compressed Air. You’ll play a key role in supporting existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to business growth within your region.

Key Responsibilities – Technical Sales Engineer

Support and develop customer accounts within the Fluid Power marketIdentify and qualify new business opportunities within your regionProvide technical advice on product selection, system configuration, and application suitabilityPrepare accurate quotations and proposals, ensuring solutions meet customer and technical requirementsWork closely with internal sales, technical, and procurement teams to support project deliveryBuild strong relationships with engineering, maintenance, and procurement stakeholdersFollow up on enquiries and quotations to maximise conversion to ordersAssist in developing account plans and identifying growth opportunitiesMaintain accurate records and pipeline activity within CRM systemsContribute to budgeting and forecasting activities where required

Key Experience & Qualifications – Technical Sales Engineer

Experience working with Fluid Power systems and componentsGood understanding of hydraulic systems, with some knowledge of electronic control interfacesBackground in technical sales, applications engineering, or a customer-facing engineering roleStrong commercial awareness and ability to support revenue growthExcellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiencesCompetent in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)Organised, proactive, and solutions-focusedEngineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree)Experience within Fluid Power or a related industrial sector

Position: QA Technician

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Salary: £27,000- £29,000

Working hours: Weekly rotation

Week 1 Monday to Friday 05:30- 14:00

Week 2 Monday to Friday 09:30-1 8:00

Key Responsibilities – QA Technician

Qualifications & Requirements – QA Technician

Degree-level education (Food Science, Microbiology or equivalent) or equivalent experience in a Quality TeamExperience conducting microbiological and/or chemical testing.Experience working with SOPs and managing controlled documentation.Understanding of drinks manufacturing processes (ideal).Ability to manage laboratory systems and maintain compliance.Skilled in investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions.Capable of collaborating across multi-functional manufacturing teams.

Position: CNC Machinist

Location: Gloucester

Type of work: permanent

Salary: £36,0000 per annum

Hours of work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday between 7:00 am and 05:00 pm

We are now seeking a CNC setter to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Gloucester. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC milling and CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products. The appropriate candidate would be trained on offline programming.

Responsibilities:

Setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controlsWorking on technical engineering drawingsWorking with aluminium and stainless steelAbility to use measuring toolsEnsuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.
