Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in the search for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their industrial engineering division. This role places you at the forefront of service and maintenance across a portfolio of industrial refrigeration systems, ensuring critical plant and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. You'll take responsibility for the servicing, repair, and optimisation of refrigeration assets on customer sites, while also supporting HVAC equipment that incorporates refrigeration circuits.

 

 

Key Responsibilities - Senior Refrigeration Engineer

Responsible for the correct servicing and maintenance of refrigeration systems, including heavy commercial and industrial applications such as CO2, DX, and chilled water systems.Work closely with the Service Admin team, Service Supervisors, and fellow Senior Service Engineers to ensure all systems meet required client specifications and industry standards.Ensure client systems operate at optimum performance levels to support site operational requirements.Always maintain safe systems of work while carrying out service, maintenance, and performance checks.

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements - Senior Refrigeration Engineer

Time-served apprenticeship with NVQ/C&G refrigeration qualification.C&G 2079 / CITB refrigerant handling certificate / F Gas Category 1Strong refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills.Ability to read technical drawings and apply relevant H&S legislation.Good communication and customer-facing skills.Self-motivated, professional and able to work at heights using access equipment.Full UK driving licence essential.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team

You will be responsible in managing the successful delivery of all assigned project work, ensuring timely completion of results within the projected profit margin.

Key Responsibilities – Project Engineer

Active involvement in project design.Present project design ideas and plans.Agree and adhere to a programme of work.Manage project documentation efficiently and correctly.Produce and issue risk assessments and method statements.Procure non-major components.Ensure components are delivered to the site on time.Record variations from the agreed project scope and immediately address them with the customer.Monitor and address shortfalls within project deliverables at all stages of project execution.Address any commissioning/post-commissioning issues immediately.Represent the company in external project meetings.Deal effectively with customers and suppliers, building strong relations with both groups.Maintain open lines of communication with the customer, keeping them continually updated.Liaise with the Drawing Office and other internal colleagues as required

Maintenance Technician

South Coast (Basingstoke / Camberley / Woking)

My client is on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician to join the team.

This role will include working across multiple retail stores through planned visits and responsive maintenance. You’ll complete a wide range of building fabric and housekeeping repairs—including fixing floors, walls, doors, toilets, fitting rooms, basic plumbing and other general upkeep—along with carrying out and assisting minor PPMs to ensure each store stays in good working order.

Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Technician

Complete minor maintenance and fabric repairs- Carry out a range of building fabric and housekeeping tasks—such as basic joinery, painting, basic plumbing, minor floor repairs, fixtures and fittings—delivering work safely and to a high standard.Deliver planned and reactive maintenance- Complete all planned and reactive tasks within agreed timescales and ensure associated documentation is accurate and up to date.Respond promptly to Helpdesk requests- Assess job requirements, complete repairs where possible, and escalate issues outside role scope in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Technician

NVQ/City & Guilds in a relevant trade; multi‑trade experience in FM, retail or public buildings.Full UK driving licence.Ability to carry out a variety of fabric and grounds repairs, including floors, walls, doors, toilets, fixtures, and general housekeeping tasks.
