Electrical Test Engineer required by market leading manufacturing company, based in Droitwich. The successful Electrical Test Engineer will be responsible for testing, inspection, and commissioning of complex electrical and control systems prior to customer delivery.

Main Duties Electrical Test Engineer

Carry out full testing and inspection of equipment in a manufacturing environmentConnect electrical, water, and mechanical systems for testingPerform fault finding and diagnostics, including live PLC troubleshootingUse test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analysersWork with high-voltage systemsCollaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issuesComplete testing documentation and quality recordsSign off equipment prior to dispatch

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Electrical Test Engineer

Educated to HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical EngineeringStrong knowledge of single & three-phase systems and high-power circuitsExperience working with live electrical equipmentUnderstanding of analogue and digital electronicsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsGood communication and teamwork skillsHigh attention to detail and quality standardsExcellent problem-solving skillsMechanically minded with practical hands-on abilityFlexibility for international travel to mee the needs of the role.

Job Title: Injection Moulding Technician

Salary: £16.50 per hour (+ £3.00 night shift premium)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join a busy and forward-thinking manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for setting and running moulding production orders, ensuring consistent high-quality output. You'll play a key role in achieving Right First Time and Just in Time manufacturing, working with advanced moulding techniques and standardised processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

Set and condition injection mould tools to meet production requirementsRun production orders using pre-set programmes, monitoring output quality throughout the shiftRespond to machine alarms and faults, implementing permanent corrective actionsCarry out routine maintenance and fault finding on injection moulding machines and toolingControl and optimise processing parameters in line with product standards and cost requirementsMaintain accurate records of maintenance, production, and quality checksSupport supervision of shift staff when required in the absence of a SupervisorPrepare auxiliary equipment, jigs, fixtures, and assembly machinesPerform quality checks in line with company standards and identify defectsCarry out first-line troubleshooting of process and quality issuesUse and update production monitoring systems (e.g., Blackbird)Ensure safe handling and accurate movement of materials and stockSupport tooling trials, processing, and optimisation for new projectsOperate forklift truck when licensedParticipate in training and continuous improvement initiatives

 

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Injection Moulding TechnicianStrong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding capabilityExperience with injection moulding machines, tooling, and process optimisationBasic electrical knowledgeFamiliarity with production or ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)Strong problem-solving skills with an innovative mindsetGood communication and decision-making abilityHigh attention to detailContinuous improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles

 

Essential Qualifications

IMT Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent)

 

Desirable Experience

Experience with tool trials and process optimisationExperience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing environment on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure machinery downtime is minimised through effective preventative maintenance and rapid fault resolution within a fast-paced FMCG setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site machinery and production equipmentDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on food processing equipmentRespond quickly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operationsRecord all maintenance activities to support fault tracking and continuous improvementLiaise with engineering leadership to ensure availability of appropriate spare partsConduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrenceSupport continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and maintenance processesMentor and support other engineers to deliver high-quality service to productionChampion health, safety, and environmental compliance across all activitiesAssist with building maintenance and site engineering projects as required
