Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: London & Home Counties

Pay Range/details: £46,000 to £50,000 DOE + Door to Door Travel + Overtime

Contract Type: Permanent

 

Omega are supporting a leading mechanical services provider in their search for experienced Air Conditioning Engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality installation, maintenance and reactive works across a variety of commercial sites, attending scheduled callouts, planned maintenance visits and repair tasks arranged by the office team. You'll play a key role in representing the business on site and contributing to a positive, team-focused working environment. Key Responsibilities -  Air Conditioning Engineer

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems across commercial sites.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on split systems, VRV/VRF units, multi-split systems, and associated ventilation equipment.
  • Undertake installation, commissioning, and testing of air conditioning systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and compliantly, adhering to F-Gas regulations, health & safety policies, and company procedures.
  • Complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation accurately, providing clear updates on works carried out and any remedial actions required.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and site teams, delivering a high standard of customer service while supporting the successful delivery of maintenance and project works.

 

Qualifications & Requirements -  Air Conditioning Engineer

  • Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer within commercial maintenance, service, and installation environments.
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification is essential.
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations, compliance standards, and safe systems of work within commercial environments.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
  • On call rota is 1-in-7.
  • Standard working day is 8 hours on site, with an 08.00 start time.
  • Any time worked on site beyond 8 hours is paid at 1.5x overtime.
  • Travel time is paid separately and on top of on?site hours.

Job Title: Injection Moulding Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join a busy and forward-thinking manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for setting and running moulding production orders, ensuring consistent high-quality output. You'll play a key role in achieving Right First Time and Just in Time manufacturing, working with advanced moulding techniques and standardised processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

Set and condition injection mould tools to meet production requirementsRun production orders using pre-set programmes, monitoring output quality throughout the shiftRespond to machine alarms and faults, implementing permanent corrective actionsCarry out routine maintenance and fault finding on injection moulding machines and toolingControl and optimise processing parameters in line with product standards and cost requirementsMaintain accurate records of maintenance, production, and quality checksSupport supervision of shift staff when required in the absence of a SupervisorPrepare auxiliary equipment, jigs, fixtures, and assembly machinesPerform quality checks in line with company standards and identify defectsCarry out first-line troubleshooting of process and quality issuesUse and update production monitoring systems (e.g., Blackbird)Ensure safe handling and accurate movement of materials and stockSupport tooling trials, processing, and optimisation for new projectsOperate forklift truck when licensedParticipate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
