Position: Product Line Director (UK & IOM)
Location: Deeside, Flintshire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client, a world-wide renowned name in the Aerospace industry are expanding the business moving into 2026 and are on the hunt for a Product Line Director.

Role and Responsibilities – Product Line Director

In this role, you will fathom the main responsibility for the companies P&L, maximizing both the revenue and EBITDA to grow the business faster than the intended market position. 80% of the PLD’s time will be spent customer facing to build strong relationships and constantly be able to renew / renegotiate key customer contracts.
Other responsibilities include:

  • Motivate and lead a cross-functional Product line team consisting of Sales, Operations, Engineering and more
  • Effectively lead the creation strategy of the Product Line Team to gain success in new business activities throughout company
  • Prepare and execute a comprehensive Annual Business Unit Plan 
  • Implement initiatives to continuously improve team responsiveness to customer/business needs
     

Experience or Qualifications – Product Line Director

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university. Masters degree preferred (or equivalent) 
  • Proven experience leading cross functional teams that show improvements in business schedules and growth
  • Examples of managing a team which has promoted success and achieved targets
  • Leading the responsibility for achieving Bookings, Sales, and EBITDA objectives across a business

Candidates who currently are a Product Line Director, Director of Product Strategy, Product Portfolio Director or Director of Product Management may be suitable for this position.
