Injection Moulding Setter (Night Shift)

Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am (4 on, 4 off - Night Shift)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Lancashire

Salary - £37,000

Responsibilities - Injection Moulding Setter (Night Shift)

 Set up injection moulding machines and equipment according to production schedules and specifications.

Install moulds using SMED techniques and configure machine settings to meet production needs.

Perform first-off checks and optimise processes to achieve standard cycle times.

Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and quality standards.

Complete all required documentation and follow standard operating procedures.

Collaborate with operators, quality control, supervisors, and development teams.

Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.

Maintain clean, organised work areas and adhere to housekeeping standards.

Follow health & safety protocols including PPE and manual handling procedures.

Comply with all company policies and quality control procedures.

Requirements - Injection Moulding Setter (Night Shift)

 Minimum 4 years' experience in injection moulding setting (preferred)

Strong mechanical and engineering knowledge

Understanding of polymer material properties and processing

Analytical and diagnostic skills with strong problem-solving ability

Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Familiar with health & safety practices and industry codes of conduct

Able to work independently and within a team

Good communication skills and ability to follow documented processes

Driving licence (preferred)
