NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 5 years' experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment, including post-apprenticeship experience.Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.Experience working within regulated environments (GMP/QMS preferred).Proactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving capability.Excellent communication skills across all levels.Ability to lead by example and contribute to a positive team culture.Strong focus on health, safety, and continuous improvement.Willingness to develop reporting and leadership skills alongside IT competency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Desirable:

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support site operations on a 4-month contract basis. This role is outside IR35 and is well suited to contractors with a strong hands-on mechanical background.
The position is mechanically biased, with a strong focus on valves, mechanical repairs, and plant maintenance, alongside basic electrical fault-finding support where required.
Key Responsibilities
