Day Shift 6.30am -3.15pm (6.30a. - 11.30am on Friday)

Overview:

This market leading engineering company are recruiting for a Welder to join their site in Cheltenham. The company manufacture and supply a range of specialist products to various industries across the globe.

Your role will be to carry out TIG/MIG production welding to the required standard and a range of welding and fabrication tasks to deliver high quality output to meet customer demand. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policy is adhered to by yourself and others
  • Ensure welding quality is always maintained
  • Complete positional MIG/TIG & MMA welds on carbon and stainless-steel pipework & pressure vessels
  • Work from standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering drawings and to weld procedures
  • Marking out, plasma cutting, oxyacetylene cutting, burning, grinding and drilling as required
  • Meet target efficiency and complete daily work plans including operational bookings, as required
  • Operate and set shop floor machines in line with instructions
  • Operate a pendant overhead crane to move materials and finished fabrications
  • Understand and comply with the Company Core Values
  • Engage, suggest and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects, as required
  • Actively engage with business and departmental continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven welding experience on MIG/TIG & MMA processes on both carbon & stainless steel
  • Abilty to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with working from fabrication drawings and to weld procedures

I’m recruiting a Regional Operations Manager to lead local area front-line services across waste collection, recycling and cleansing. Essentially, this is an operational leadership role, so we are looking for a proven people manager within a fast operational delivery set-up.

This is a high-impact operational leadership role; you will make an immediate mark, responsible for overseeing multi-site teams in West Yorkshire, managing large workforces, and ensuring safe, efficient service delivery to residents and commercial customers.

Duties & Responsibilities - Operations Manager - Waste Logistics

Lead and manage large-scale waste collection, recycling and operational cleansing operations across multiple depots in the West Yorkshire area.Ensure safe, compliant and efficient service delivery across a diverse front-line operations collection and processing workforce.Drive operational performance, service improvement and resource optimisationOversee daily deployment of teams, vehicles, and equipment in a fast-paced environment.Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, communities and external partners.Champion a positive health & safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant regulationsContribute to long-term service planning and transformation projectsThis role is ideal for leaders who thrive in high-volume, high-visibility operational environments in supply chain, movement of products or services, on time, in full, working to regulatory requirements

Proven operational management experience in environments such as waste & recycling, transport, logistics, supply chain, warehousing or local authority services, utilities, environmental services or facilities managementStrong leadership experience managing large front-line teams across multiple sites/depotsExcellent understanding of Health & Safety, compliance and risk managementExperience managing budgets, resources and operational KPIsStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levelsA full UK driving licence is essentialAn IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is preferredTransport CPC license is preferred not essential Experience in trade waste, recycling or environmental services is preferredExperience working with unions and community groups is preferred

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical).

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenanceConduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sitesIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

• Lead the design and integration of avionic systems to meet customer needs and certification standards.

• Capture and interpret customer requirements, providing guidance to optimise design and production.

• Support risk management, testing, and certification processes, including ground and flight testing.

Experience/Qualifications – Avionics Design Engineer

• Knowledge of aircraft systems, software safety analysis, and certification standards (FAR/CS 27 & 29, EASA/CAA Part-21J).
• Experience AutoCAD and other electrical/harness design tools.
• Experience with design lifecycle management and configuration control.
• An engineering degree or equivalent experince.
