The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical and catering equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Injection Moulding Setter

Trafford, Manchester

Permanent - 3 Shift Rotation (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6)

Salary - up to £40000 per annum + Company Profit Share

A well-established UK manufacturer producing precision-moulded components for the construction industry is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join its production team based in Trafford Park, Manchester.

This company is embarking on an exciting transformation journey, investing in its people, processes, and equipment to enhance quality and efficiency across its manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising production and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Set, monitor, and optimise injection moulding machines for efficient production cyclesComplete tool changeovers and material setups safely and effectivelyConduct basic mechanical fault finding and troubleshootingOperate forklifts to transport raw materials and tools (training can be provided)Maintain tooling and masterbatch storage areas in a safe and organised conditionSupport production with clear shift handovers and accurate record keepingWork collaboratively with the Factory Manager to identify and implement process improvementsPromote best practices in health, safety, and housekeeping across all areas

Qualifications / Experience:

Proven experience working in plastics injection moulding (minimum 2 years preferred)Skilled in setting a variety of moulding machines, robots, sprue pickers, and granulatorsConfident communicator with a proactive, team-oriented approachMechanically minded, with the ability to fault find and suggest improvementsIMT Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) - desirableStrong attention to detail with a "slow down to speed up" mindsetIT literate and comfortable completing shift documentationMotivated, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday3 rotating shifts - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £44,000 - £48,000

To give direction and provide experience on coatings and corrosion protection systems. To provide competent inspection and quality surveillance of surface preparation and applications.  To monitor full compliance with applicable standards, specifications and contractual requirements across all products and processes.

Responsibilities:

Act as Paint Specialist on production methodsSolution development with direct liaison with paint suppliers and contractorsReview and interpret client and project paint/coating specificationsVerify surface preparation methods and cleanliness gradesInspect coating application activities and verify compliance with approved proceduresMeasure and record wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT)Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvementMaintain accurate inspection records, reports and photographic evidenceSupport final acceptance, handover documentation and coating dossiersAccept or reject surface preparation and coating work.Stop work where quality, safety, or specification compliance is compromised.Sign off inspection and acceptance documentation within agreed limits of authority.

Requirements:

Experience in paint processes and surface treatmentsDemonstrable experience inspecting industrial coating systems on steel and/or metallic substrates.Ability to document Work Instructions for own areaProduce clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports.Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, applicators, and project teams.Escalate quality or technical concerns in a professional and timely manner.
