We are seeking a Fettler to join our team based near Truro. You will be required to use hand tools and machinery to grind, de-burr, remove weld spatter and finish metal components to specified tolerances.
Responsibilities:
- Fettling, sanding, and de-burring metal components to engineering drawings
- Operating hand, air, and power tools to remove sharp edges and finish parts
- Part marking, reworking parts, and supporting quality control checks
- Collection/movement of parts from different locations within the factory.
- Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency and quality as set by the Company
- Inspect completed work for defects and make necessary repairs as required
- Maintain tools and equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move components
Requirements:
- The appropriate candidate must have previous experience of fettling, sanding, and de-burring metal components
- Ability to use tools and work 4 day week

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Pest Control Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.
The role will involve will to provide complete pest control services (including proofing) to their client to control all pest species.
The role will require visiting stores, food halls, outlets, depots & also office sites at agreed intervals governed by the specification service delivery.
Key Responsibilities – Pest Control Technician
Take ownership of all pest related issues, i.e. infestations/cleaning/proofing, to resolve ongoing problems.Respond promptly to genuine emergency call outs from the Helpdesk.Formulate detailed reports on stores, escalating issues to all relevant stakeholders.To identify infestation non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Area Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.To prioritise detailed recommendations to stores and to achieve agreed timescales and response times to proactively defend against Pest activity.To carry out proofing works and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications.To advise and document to the SM of any pest activity and how this may be detrimental to the smooth running of the store.To always comply with the company Health and Safety Policy.Use pesticides in a safe and responsible manner as specified under the Control of SubstancesQualifications & Experience – Pest Control Technician
