We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to work for manufacturing company based in Stonehouse. The appropriate Quality Inspector will ensure that all manufactured components meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards. This role involves performing first-off inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections using a variety of precision measuring equipment including CMM, profile measurement, Keyence, and shadow graph machines, as well has hand-held measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector

Perform first-off inspections and complete first article reports in accordance with customer and internal requirementsConduct in-process and final inspections of components to engineering drawings and specificationsIncoming goods inspection  Measure components using: CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), Contracer (surface roughness/profile measurement), Keyence measurement systems, Shadow graph (profile projector), Standard hand-held gauges (micrometres, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.)Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and customer specificationsRecord and maintain accurate inspection data and quality documentationIdentify and report non-conforming products in line with company proceduresSupport root cause analysis and corrective action activities when requiredEnsure calibration status of equipment before use

Key Skills of a Quality Inspector

Proven experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environmentStrong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&TExperience operating CMM, Contracer, Keyence, and shadow graph equipmentHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood written and verbal communication skillsIT literate and comfortable completing electronic inspection reports

We are now seeking to recruit a toolmaker for a precision manufacturing business based in Stourport-on-Severn. The appropriate toolmaker would be responsible for manufacturing, repairing and assembling of complete fastener tooling kits to technical drawings and specifications.

The responsibility of toolmaker:

Operating of all toolroom manufacturing equipment: conventual lathes/ milling, surface and universal grinders.Setting and operating of all Toolroom measuring equipment.To source and obtain parts and materials as required following the procedures of the procurement systemTo maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables.To ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to carry out the tasks and repairsBe a proactive and flexible team member, training in other disciplines where required.

Requirements of a toolmaker:

Time served toolmaker or equivalent qualifications i.e., City and Guilds, NVQ level 3, HNC etc.Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities to proactively work with and professional people and to interact effectively with individuals and groups both internal and external to the company and at all organizational levels.Have advanced troubleshooting skills.Manual turning experience Must be able to work to tight tolerances

We are now seeking to recruit a Handy Person to join the Facilities team at Tewkesbury to support the safe, efficient running of the site by delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), carrying out routine inspections, meter readings and sampling, and responding quickly to reactive issues to minimise production disruption.

Key responsibilities

Deliver and support the PPM programme for building systems (HVAC, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, lighting).Carry out visual inspections, meter readings, sampling and routine checks to support compliance and safety.Respond to facility breakdowns and emergencies promptly to minimise downtime.Support energy, water and waste efficiency initiatives to help reduce operating costs.Work closely with Production, Engineering and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption.Who we’re looking for

Requirement:

Good knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques and strong fault-finding skills.Familiarity with PPM procedures and safe working practices.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Able to work independently, manage workload and prioritise under pressure.Full UK driving licence.This role requires working rotating shifts within a 24/5 support model, including nights and emergency callouts ( one a month)Desirable NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in building trades, plumbing or electrical.Certifications such as Legionella (L8), F-Gas, PAT testing, HVAC or similar.Health & Safety training and experience working at heights/confined spaces.Working environment & special considerationsThe role supports a 24/5 manufacturing operation; shift work and on-call availability may be required. Able to work following shift patter

AM: Mon–Thurs 6:00am–2:15pm; Fri 6:15am–11:45am
Week 2

PM: Mon–Tues 2:00pm–9:15pm; Wed–Thurs 2:00pm–9:30pm; Fri 11:30am–7:30pm

Week 3 Night Shift

Monday & Tuesday: 8:45pm - 6:15am

Wednesday: 9:00pm - 6:15am

Thursday: 9:15pm - 6:30am
