My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Pest Control Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will require visiting stores, food halls, outlets, depots & also office sites at agreed intervals governed by the specification service delivery and carrying out a detailed inspection in a safe and professional manner with due regard to Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations. This would involve providing an effective service to our clients site to effectively communicate observations verbally as well as in writing via the reports.

Key Responsibilities – Pest Control Technician

Take ownership of all pest related issues, i.e. infestations/cleaning/proofing, to resolve ongoing problems.Respond promptly to genuine emergency call outs from the Helpdesk.Formulate detailed reports on stores, escalating issues to all relevant stakeholders.To identify infestation non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Area Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.To prioritise detailed recommendations to stores and to achieve agreed timescales and response times to proactively defend against Pest activity.To carry out proofing works and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications.To advise and document to the SM of any pest activity and how this may be detrimental to the smooth running of the store.To always comply with the company Health and Safety Policy.Use pesticides in a safe and responsible manner as specified under the Control of Substances

Qualifications & Experience – Pest Control Technician

Royal Society of Health Cert in Pest Control or British Pest Control Association Diploma’s Part 1 and 2.Full driving license.Experience with Pest control environment. Experience in retail, leisure or FM sector is desirable.

The hours are 38 hours per week

Monday to Thursday – 7.30 am to 4.00 pm and 7.30 am to 1.30 pm Friday

We are now seeking to recruit Welder/ Fabricator for a busy manufacturing company based in Stonehouse to fabricate and weld of light to medium gauge steel in line with the detailed engineering drawing provided, occasionally liaising with other departments of the fabrication shop to ensure the fabrication is to the standard required.

 Responsibilities:

Read, interpret and follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions to ensure exact specifications of outputFabricating work in various gauge metals (light to medium)MIG welding (predominately mild steel)Tig welding (predominately stainless steel)Grinding/polishing fabricated items by using various handheld tools and/or dedicated material finishing machineryPerform quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards

The QHSE Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the engineering and production departments by ensuring that all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental practices are effectively implemented across the business. The role is responsible for maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, industry, project standards and internal procedures, while promoting a strong QHSE culture and continuous improvement across all engineering activities.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of QHSE systems aligned with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).Conduct QHSE audits and inspections across engineering design offices, fabrication shops, and on-site project locations.Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure QHSE is embedded into all stages of design, planning, fabrication, and installation.Facilitate risk assessments and method statement reviews for engineering activities and ensure control measures are effectively communicated and implemented.Support root cause analysis and investigation of incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, ensuring lessons learned are captured and shared.Coordinate and deliver QHSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training relevant to engineering environments, such as machinery safety, lifting operations, and hazardous substances.Monitor QHSE performance metrics, prepare reports for management, and recommend improvements based on data trends.Liaise with external bodies, clients, and contractors to ensure QHSE requirements are understood and met throughout project execution.

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience of working in a QHSE role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.Experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 systemsKnowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing processes with the ability to evaluate, analyse data and produce reportsFamiliarity with engineering processes, tools, equipment, and project lifecycle stagesCompetent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Key Experience & Requirements – Injection Moulding Setter

Proven experience working as an Injection Moulding Setter within a manufacturing environment.Formal qualifications in Injection Moulding Setting and Processing.Experience using cranes, lifting and slinging equipment, and powered pallet trucks (PPT).Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and machine optimisation.Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Flexible and proactive approach to work.IMT qualification is desirable.Experience supporting continuous improvement activities within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
