I am attracting a Facilities Technician, Multi-Skilled Technician, Building Maintenance, Joiner, Plumber, Electrician, Maintenance Operative, Property Maintenance, Site Services,  and Facilities Maintenance person

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys fixing, improving, and maintaining buildings and facilities? Do you want to work a day shift? 33 hours per week? Working over the weekend? Day shift?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in joinery, plumbing, electrical, maintenance, facilities, construction, property services, handyman work, building services or a similar trade. Ideally, you will have gained experience on a manufacturing site or an automated warehousing facility, but we are open to the skill set.

What You'll Be Doing - Facilities & Building Maintenance Technician

You'll be involved in a wide range of activities including:

  • General building maintenance and repairs
  • Basic plumbing, joinery, decorating, and mechanical tasks
  • Supporting facility improvement projects
  • Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Working with contractors
  • Responding to breakdowns and urgent maintenance issues
  • Maintaining outdoor areas and site infrastructure
  • Supporting site safety, compliance, and environmental standards

What We're Looking For - Facilities & Building Maintenance Technician

We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds.

You may currently work as a Joiner / Carpenter, Maintenance Technician, Facilities Technician, Grounds Estates Technician, Multi-Skilled Operative, Property Maintenance Engineer, Electrician, Plumber, Building Services Technician, Facilities Assistant, Caretaker / Site Services Technician, Mechanical Technician, General Maintenance Operative.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience carrying out maintenance, repairs, or trade work
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic IT skills for recording work completed
  • Trade qualifications (Electrical, Plumbing, Joinery, Mechanical, Building Maintenance etc.)
  • Facilities or manufacturing experience
  • IOSH or other safety qualifications
  • Knowledge of permit-to-work systems

Key Responsibilities – Commercial Gas Engineer

Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
