Job Title: CNC Machinist - Mill/Turn (Nightshift)
Location: Wolverhampton
Contract: 18 Month FTC
Salary: £42,000 + 33.3% Shift Allowance
Shift: Mon-Thurs - 22.00 to 06.00 / Friday 16.00 to 21.00
The Role – CNC Machinist
Join our leading aerospace client’s team in Wolverhampton and contribute to cutting-edge precision technology
As a CNC Machinist, you’ll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
This is a nightshift position following an inital training period on days/morning shift.
Duties – CNC Machinist
- Set up, operate, and manage a variety of machines with mill/turn capability.
- Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
- Machine components to extremely tight tolerances.
- Select and optimize tooling and machining parameters
- Troubleshoot machining issues, adjusting programs or set-ups to maintain production quality and flow.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Background – CNC Machinist
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Experience on different mill/turn CNC machines (Okuma , Mazak , Lathe, DMG , Matsura, Puma)
- In-depth knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and inspection methods
- multi-axis/complex machining environment
