We are now seeking to recruitthe Injection Moulding Toolmaker to manufacture, assembly, and maintain of high-precision mould tools to defined specifications. Using CAD/CAM, EDM, and machining techniques, the role supports the production of quality tooling for plastic injection moulding.

Key Duties:

  • Interpret 2D and 3D CAD designs to produce accurate tooling components
  • Assemble and fit mould tools to engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Ensure tools are dimensionally accurate and functionally sound through testing and adjustments
  • Operate manual and CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines
  • Ensure tight tolerances are maintained throughout the toolmaking process
  • Use of Precision Measuring and Inspection Equipment
  • Conduct inspections using micrometers, CMMs, gauges, and metrology equipment
  • Maintain high-quality standards through rigorous checking and documentation
  • routines

Required Experience/Background:

  • Proven experience in injection mould toolmaking
  • Strong proficiency with CAD/CAM systems (visi cadcam)
  • Skilled in EDM processes including wire and spark erosion is beneficial
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with mould tool design and function desirable
  • Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in toolmaking/precision engineering

Duties – Avionics Design Engineer

• Lead the design and integration of avionic systems to meet customer needs and certification standards.
• Translate concepts into detailed, compliant designs aligned with OEM Type Certificates.
• Manage all avionic activities within a multi-disciplinary environment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Capture and interpret customer requirements, providing guidance to optimise design and production.
• Apply Systems Engineering practices, tools, and methods throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support risk management, testing, and certification processes, including ground and flight testing.

Experience/Qualifications – Avionics Design Engineer

• Knowledge of aircraft systems, software safety analysis, and certification standards (FAR/CS 27 & 29, EASA/CAA Part-21J).
• Experience AutoCAD and other electrical/harness design tools.
• Experience with design lifecycle management and configuration control.
• An engineering degree or equivalent experince.

Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in their search for a Refrigeration Engineer work on a major UK supermarket contract. The right Refrigeration Engineer will be the first line in all service and maintenance throughout  allocated sites. They will also effectively maintain service and repair Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and aid HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

 

Key Responsibilities -  Refrigeration Engineer

Carry out reactive and planned refrigeration maintenance within agreed timescales.Diagnose faults, identify non-repairable issues and recommend replacements.Complete all PPM, technical and compliance paperwork accurately and on time.Order and fit parts in line with company procedures.Respond promptly to Helpdesk service calls and complete repairs efficiently.Communicate issues affecting store operations to GSMs and build strong working relationships.Complete surveys, reports and job documentation as required.Participate in the out-of-hours standby rota and arrange cover when needed.Working with CO? refrigeration pack systems.Planned on-call rota 1 in 4 weeks  (hours of work paid in addition to standby payment)
