Job Title: FLT Driver- Days

Location: Gloucester

Pay Range/details: £13.50 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary

My client, based in Gloucester, is looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. You will be responsible for general warehouse and FLT duties supporting both logistics and manufacturing business areas.

Key Responsibilities – Forklift Driver

  • Picking and packing orders
  • FLT driving
  • Booking in goods
  • General warehouse duties
  • Warehouse administrative tasks
  • Replenishing stock

Qualifications & Requirements – Forklift Driver

  • Warehouse experience
  • Valid counterbalance forklift licence
  • Computer literate
  • Team player
  • DBS Vetting/ full employment and address history required

  • Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 07:30- 16:00, Friday 07:30- 12:30

Assembling parts made from metals or other materials to create production equipment and machinery

Building assemblies and sub-assemblies

Build of pneumatic and hydraulics system.

Requirement:

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Previous mechanical engineering experience and competence in mechanical fitting, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.

A good understanding of mechanical drawings and schematics

A desire to be part of a highly motivated team

Hard working

The knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting from a production or engineering type background is essential and the ability to interpret basic drawings is required

Previous experience in fitting and fabricating.Proven track record of producing high-quality mechanical components.Strong knowledge of precision fitting and fabricating techniques, including the use of measuring equipment.Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, diagrams, and specificationsExcellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced changing environment.Preferable but non-essential to have vehicle body building experience.Experience in welding techniques also advantageous
