Position: Panel Wirer
Location: Bristol
Type of work: contract 3 to 6 months
Salary: competitive
Working hours: 37 hour per week Monday to Friday
We are now seeking to recruit Panel Wirer to assemble electrical sub-assemblies and machines for a bespoke machinery for supply to the final build function within required timescales.
Responsibilities:
- Build sub-assemblies/panels as required by supplied drawings
- Check and verify accuracy of assemblies/panels on completion
- Daily and accurate completion of records including timesheets and inspection status documentation
- Report any manufacturing and assembly errors to team leader so corrective action can be agreed
- On an ad hoc basis you may be asked to visit customer sites to assist with final build/installations/commissioning
- To work with other departments to be involved in setting priorities regarding assembly build to ensure all builds are complete within required timeframes
- To undertake other duties as may be required
Requirements:
- Successful completion of apprenticeship (C&G 204 or C&G 236) or equivalent
- Knowledge of working with a wide variety of materials
- Ability to read drawings
- Previous experience in Panel wiring
