Responsibilities - Manufacturing Applications Engineer

  • Design, develop, and support applications used within a live manufacturing environment
  • Own the full application lifecycle: requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day factory system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimisation of manufacturing systems and applications
  • Manage and prioritise incidents, ensuring critical issues are resolved efficiently
  • Collaborate with wider infrastructure and IT teams to ensure system stability and scalability
  • Build strong relationships with internal users, delivering a high standard of customer support

Qualifications / Experience - Manufacturing Applications Engineer

  • Experience in software development (e.g. C#, .NET, or similar technologies)
  • Knowledge of databases and/or web-based application development
  • Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or production environments is highly advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
  • Ability to translate user requirements into practical solutions
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a small, collaborative team
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset

Key Responsibilities – Regional Sales Manager
