Role Overview - Supplier Quality Engineer

Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer looking to take a leading role in strengthening supply chain performance within a highly regulated engineering environment? As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will act as a key technical interface between suppliers, internal teams, and customers-ensuring that supplied materials, components and processes meet stringent aerospace requirements. You'll lead supplier audits, drive Zero Defect initiatives, support APQP activity, and ensure robust corrective action across the supply chain.

This is an on?site role based in Coventry, involving regular collaboration with suppliers, engineering, quality and procurement teams, as well as periodic travel within the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities - Supplier Quality Engineer

Providing quality support to the supply chain and internal value streamsLeading supplier performance improvement initiatives and supplier?related continuous improvementPlanning and conducting supplier audits in line with AS9100 and internal requirementsSupporting the deployment of the Zero Defect programme across key suppliers to reduce DPPMEnsuring prompt containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5?Why, Cause & EffectReviewing and approving supplier FAIRs to AS9102 requirementsWorking with suppliers to ensure compliance to AS9100, Part 21 and customer?specific regulationsAnalysing non?conformance and quality data to recommend improvementsSupporting source transfer activities and supplier development programmesCollaborating closely with procurement, engineering and operations to resolve supply chain issuesSupporting APQP processes including PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans and PPAPEnsuring documentation, records and compliance evidence are accurate, complete and audit?ready

Key Experience & Qualifications - Supplier Quality Engineer

Experience in aerospace or another highly regulated engineering/manufacturing sectorStrong working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001 and aerospace supplier quality requirementsExperience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier developmentProficiency in APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA and root cause analysis toolsUnderstanding of Part 21 Subpart G and (ideally) Part 145 requirementsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsStrong communication skills with the confidence to influence and challenge suppliersHands?on, proactive approach with strong analytical and problem?solving abilityExperience with SAP or similar MRP/ERP systemsEngineering or technical qualification, or equivalent industry experience

Compliance and Assurance Administrator required by industry leading company, based near Cirencester.  We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual with strong Excel skills, an interest in data and management information reporting, and a natural aptitude for problem solving. The successful Compliance and Assurance Administrator will enjoy working with data, identifying trends, and supporting informed business decision-making while delivering high-quality administrative support across a range of quality assurance activities.

Main Duties: Compliance and Assurance Administrator

Producing regular management information (MI) reports, including data analysis, trend identification, and reporting insights.Supporting the administration of the complaints process, ensuring accurate record keeping and timely follow-up.Assisting with the monitoring of customer cases and operational risk events.Administration of the Quality Assurance Framework and maintaining associated records and documentation.Coordinating training activities and maintaining accurate training records.Providing general administrative support to the Operations Assurance team as required.Contributing to the production and maintenance of internal communications, publications, and reporting materials.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following : Compliance and Assurance Administrator

Position: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Coleford

Type of role: permanent

Working hours: 37.5 hours       

One week Monday – Friday 06.00 -14.00, second week Monday – Thursday 14.00-22.00, Friday 06.00- 14.00, 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day

We are now seeking Mechanical Fitter to carry out mechanical assembly of pumps with either an electric motor or diesel engine. The appropriate candidate would have previous experience in working within mechanical assembly or mechanical fitting environment.

                               

Responsibilities:

Build bare shaft pumps to engineering drawings.Assemble diesel skid sets to engineering drawings and bill of material listing.Assemble electric skid sets to engineering drawings and bill of material listing.Raise any assembly issues with QA engineer and supervisor.Fill in production data books with project critical information requested.Complete check sheets.Comply with health, safety, and environmental rules as detailed in risk assessments and COSHH sheets.Communication with peer group e.g. when working on a project build together / across shifts.Communication with test e.g. that a pump is ready for test on the well.

Requirements:

Recognised engineering apprenticeship, NVQ3 or equivalent and 3 years of experience or previous experience in fitting.Read engineering drawingsAbility to work double day shift.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical and catering equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Electrician

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenanceConduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sitesIdentify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
