Position: Operations Logistics Supervisor
Location: Deeside, Flintshire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client, a specialist aerospace manufacturing business are on the hunt for an Operations Logistics Supervisor!

Role and Responsibilities – Operations Logistics Supervisor
In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution of all logistics activities within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach and performance manage a team of circa 8 logistics operatives.
  •  Execute and oversee compliant domestic and international shipments in accordance with company procedures and applicable UK and international export regulations.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, implementing corrective and preventive actions
  •  Ensure ERP/MRP system transactions are accurate and timely.

   Experience or Qualifications – Operations Logistics Supervisor

  •  ILM Level 3 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent supervisory qualification)
  •  IOSH Managing Safely
  •  Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing logistics environment
  • Awareness of UK and US export control regulations (including ITAR/EAR principles)
