Our client, an innovative engineering and automation business based near Luton are on the hunt for an organised and technically capable Project Manager.
Role and Responsibilities - Project Manager
In this role, your key responsibility is to manage the delivery of automation projects from order handover through to installation and acceptance.
Other responsibilities include:
- Managing project scope, schedules, resources and risk
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers
- Coordinating internal engineering teams and external suppliers
- Translating customer requirements into technical delivery plans
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation and change control
- Supporting proposal and quotation activity with technical input
Experience or Qualifications - Project Manager
- Proven experience managing automation or technically complex engineering projects
- Background in industrial automation, controls or manufacturing systems
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Exposure to inspection, optical or imaging-based technologies
- Experience working within manufacturing environments
- Formal project management training or certification
