Our client, an innovative engineering and automation business based near Luton are on the hunt for an organised and technically capable Project Manager.

 

Role and Responsibilities - Project Manager

In this role, your key responsibility is to manage the delivery of automation projects from order handover through to installation and acceptance.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Managing project scope, schedules, resources and risk
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers
  • Coordinating internal engineering teams and external suppliers
  • Translating customer requirements into technical delivery plans
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation and change control
  • Supporting proposal and quotation activity with technical input

 

Experience or Qualifications - Project Manager

  • Proven experience managing automation or technically complex engineering projects
  • Background in industrial automation, controls or manufacturing systems
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Exposure to inspection, optical or imaging-based technologies
  • Experience working within manufacturing environments
  • Formal project management training or certification
