Main Duties - Contract Specialist

Support bid / no-bid decisions through commercial and contractual analysisReview and develop responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs)Manage contracts across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with commercial and customer requirementsConduct detailed contract risk reviews and implement mitigation strategiesNegotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and contractual agreementsHandle complex customer correspondence, including claims and disputesAdminister major contracts, tracking performance, delivery schedules, and obligationsMaintain accurate contract documentation and change control recordsSupport programme planning and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholdersMonitor performance and proactively recommend commercial and contractual improvementsProvide guidance and support to less experienced team members

 

The Ideal Candidate - Contract Specialist

Degree qualified (or equivalent experience)Experience working within contracts, commercial, or programme environmentsStrong understanding of contract lifecycle managementProven experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder engagementAbility to manage complex commercial agreementsStrong analytical mindset with a focus on risk and opportunityExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
