An exciting opportunity to join my Bristol-based client has arisen, they are an engineering business who investment in technology and software combined with extensive training and development of their people.

My client is a market leader in their field and are looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to join their team.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

 

• Producing sheet metal items using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium

• Reading from technical drawings

• Using the sheet metal machines

• The ability to TIG Weld 

• Working to deadlines

• Working to a high specification

 

The successful candidate for the Sheet Metal Worker vacancy will come from an engineering environment and will need to have: 

 

• Proven experience in fine limit sheet metal work

• Proven experience in reading technical drawings

• Minimum 5 years’ experience

• Ability to work work unsupervised

• Good problem-solving skills 

 

In return the successful candidate for the Sheet Metal Worker position will receive: 

 

• Salary up to £36500 per annum dependent on experience
