This role involves setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components in line with customer specifications and technical drawings. Key Experience & Qualifications – CNC Setter/Operator Proven experience in setting and operating CNC milling machines within a precision engineering or aerospace environment.Strong ability to read and interpret cutting patterns to optimise stock usage and minimise waste.Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and their practical application in a machining environment.Understanding of quality processes and continuous improvement methodologies.PC literate (e.g., MS Word, Excel, and stock control systems).Self-motivated, diligent, analytical, and numerate with a focus on quality and precision.Current valid counterbalance mechanical handling license.Machine maintenance skills relevant to CNC milling equipment.Ability to be trained as a business-approved stamp holder.
