Role Overview - Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a dynamic company known for delivering efficient manufacturing solutions. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be a key part of the operations team, ensuring the smooth running of production equipment with a focus on maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Engineer

  • Developing and implementing planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Improving production processes or services.
  • Designing cost-effective equipment modifications to enhance safety.
  • Resolving problems with manufacturing areas.
  • Responding to faults or breakdowns promptly.
  • Monitoring and commissioning plant and systems.
  • Ensuring engineering works comply with legislation.
  • Carrying out risk assessments and supporting other engineers.

Key Experience & Qualifications – Maintenance Engineer

  • Qualified with 2365/2357 or equivalent and 18th edition electrical regulations.
  • ECS Gold Card (desirable).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems (advantageous).
  • Team player with good communication and timekeeping skills.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering (Level 2 minimum).
  • Competent in electrical installations, PLC fault finding, and welding.
  • Full driving license and physically fit.
