Responsibilities - Evening Setter / Technician

  • Set up injection moulding jobs: fit and start tools, perform tool changes

     

  • Conduct first?off quality checks to confirm components meet specification

     

  • Ensure machines are correctly prepared for production runs

     

  • Work with existing setup sheets and follow process documentation

     

  • Collaborate with quality & maintenance to resolve tooling/machine issues

     

  • Maintain high standards of machine cleanliness, tooling condition, and safety

     

 

Requirements - Evening Setter / Technician

  • Previous experience as a setter or technician in injection moulding / tool setting

     

  • Proficient in performing first?off checks and interpreting quality specs

     

  • Comfortable doing tool changes, fitting, and starting tools

     

  • Good knowledge of plastics (varieties, behaviour in moulding)

     

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during evening shifts

     

  • Must be reliable and able to follow process documentation
