Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, organised Operations Team Administrator to facilitate the flow of administration tasks throughout the order lifecycle. This pivotal role to administer and stream line the Operations function from order acknowledgement through to order dispatch, general office tasks and supporting the operational smooth running of the European part of their global business.

Key Responsibilities - Operations Team Administrator

  • Prepare and issue order acknowledgements.
  • Create and monitor works orders to ensure timely progress.
  • Track and manage stock levels, identifying usage trends.
  • Oversee receipting and dispatch of goods.
  • Manage general purchasing activities.
  • Maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic.
  • Organise UK and European freight requirements.
  • Track orders throughout the process, escalating any risks to the Production Supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide flexible administrative support to the operations team, with a focus on assisting the Production Supervisor.
  • Actively contribute to the company's continuous improvement initiatives, supporting growth within operations and the wider business.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe, and organised workplace, particularly in the operations office.
  • Use company resources responsibly and efficiently to support cost-effective operations.

Qualifications & Requirements - Operations Team Administrator

  • Proven experience and confidence in managing complex, multifaceted administrative tasks.
  • Flexible and able to contribute effectively to a varied workload within a busy team environment.
  • Adaptable, with strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
  • Proactive team player with a confident, positive, and "can-do" attitude.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and thorough, with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Experience with Sage or similar systems is desirable.
