Role: Production Technician

Location: Coventry

£37,000 - £39,000

3 shift pattern - 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am

This market leading engineering company are recruiting for a Production Technician to join their site in Coventry.

Your role will be to prepare, jig, assemble, and break down loads for heat treatment and brazing. The role also includes operating plant and ancillary equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Make up/breakdown furnace loads
  • Plan jigs and fixture utilisation
  • Operate plant and equipment and follow safe operating instructions
  • Recording of process information Inspection of incoming components prior to assembly etc
  • Preparation of components for assembly
  • Assembling components ready for brazing
  • Jigging components ready for furnace brazing
  • Tig welding & spot welding
  • Dimensional fitting to build sheet/drawings
  • Follow company health & safety procedures
  • Follow company environmental procedures
  • Comply with all quality system requirements
  • Maintain good working practices and housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Previous production / assembly experience
  • Forklift experience would be beneficial
