You will help deliver world-class engineering CAPEX AND Asset improvement projects on an investment programme - Multi-million CAPEX

Business potential is excellent, with extensive capital investment, creating the need for a Project Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities - Project Engineering Manager - Process or Packaging Engineering

  • Responsible for leading a team of project engineers, managing the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget! You will cover supplier selection, financial control and customer acceptance. You will own factory equipment and structures, including packaging, processing and utilities.
  • Reporting directly to the Project Engineering Manager, you will have complete autonomy to deliver pragmatic, value-engineered projects to cost and time specifications.
  • You will coach, mentor and develop your multi-functional teams of engineers and designers/contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • To procure equipment through internal and external resourcing functions
  • The projects will cover factory equipment, including packaging, processing and site activities.
  • You will lead engineering and production teams during equipment installation and start-up, supplier selection, feasibility and justification analysis, equipment commissioning and validation and FAT.

Qualifications and Requirements - Project Engineering Manager - Engineering

  • Graduate calibre within an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Chemical)
  • Previous experience within an engineering Project Management role
  • Experience with CAPEX investments, manufacturing, time-sensitive and fast-paced, ideally FMCG
  • The ideal candidate will be a methodical and detailed worker, extremely achievement-oriented and career-focused and able to work in a direct and often pressurised environment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client based in Sheffiled. This is a hands-on Electrical Engineer position working a rotating shift pattern by providing engineering support to achieve high levels of plant availability and performance across the Meadowhall, River Don and Provincial Park sites.

Key Responsibilities - Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Rectify all engineering breakdowns as quickly as possible to minimise downtimeSupport the introduction and delivery of PPM TPM and Continuous Improvement initiatives across all sitesAct with delegated authority of the Engineering Team Leader in their absence and make sound engineering decisions when requiredMaintain the highest standards of housekeeping and embrace the 5S programme daily Enforce and adhere to the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times Complete all work recording systems accurately with relevant informationCarry out thorough shift change and handover procedures with oncoming personnel Support the Site Engineering Manager in reducing machine downtime through autonomous maintenance programmes Complete all plant PPM schedules on time and support site-wide TPM programmes Work effectively as part of a multi-skilled Mechanical and Electrical team Liaise with contractors and carry out cost-effective maintenance and repairs Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements - Electrical Maintenance Engineer 

Good academic qualifications i.e. HNC / ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Apprentice trained - 17th Edition Trained (Minimum) with 18th Edition Training advantageous Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an Engineering or Maintenance function Strong PLC knowledge and fault-finding skills Experience in a hot working environment such as steel forging rolling or foundry would be advantageous HV Switching qualification and authorisation would be advantageous Team working skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Logical analytical approach with a can-do self-motivated attitude Flexible with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Technician?to join the team.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance in Distribution sites across Castle Donnington

You will be the first line in all maintenance issues throughout your allocated site. You may be required to request specialist attendance following initial call out.

The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs and PPM's. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date at all times.

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Technician

· Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.

· Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.

· Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.

· Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance

· Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs

· Follow purchase order process.

· Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

· Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times

Qualifications & Experience - Maintenance Technician

· NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.

· City and Guilds 2382 18th edition

· AM2/2391

· 3 phase electrics and its applications

 

· Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial ovens, dishwashers and microwaves

· £38,394.17 (salary including standby allowance)

· Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm On call every second week
